I was just wondering if there's a special history related to the use of cats for clixsense captcha. When I first used the site, I thought it was going to be random animals, but weeks have passed, and its always been cats and dogs. So, that made me wonder, why use cats?

initially I remember it was dogs then they switched to cats. I'm really happy since i love cats and some of the pictures are so cute that i almost feel like saving them on my laptop..!

Really, so it used to be dogs. Perhaps, they would change that in the future, huh.

Not really, although we used to have a dog. I'm no pet lover, at all. I just thought, that if they changed it from dogs to cats, then perhaps, later they're going to feature another type of animal. How about monkeys and human..lol..

The clixsense owner might have considering CAT as their lucky charm so they are using CAT in the captacha. The pictures provided are from petfinder.com and it might be their sister site.

I have thought about that too and think that the administrtion in cat lover. You have to choose the cat and leave the dogs. Besides, the cat pictures are particulary beautiful. It´s like a mild brain washing devise

Beats me, but I sure find them funny though. They would use dark colored cats that I find them difficult to distinguish one from the dogs.

ClixSense, promotes Petfinder.com and believes in and supports pet adoption. Cat and dog pictures are used because that's generally what Petfinder.com finds homes for.
