Outcome of the battle between Yahoo and Facebook.

I came across a news in the local newspaper that Yahoo has sued Facebook over 10 patents that include methods and systems for advertising on the Web, opening the first major legal battle among big technology companies in social media. I am not sure what would be the outcome of the battle between the two biggies. But I am sure that the worst sufferers would definitely be the common Internet users who are fond of both of these Internet giants.

I actually didn't know anything about this particular case and I really don't see how it would work. The reason that I don't see how it would work is because of the fact that the two sites are two very different kinds of sites. If it comes down to facebook having to pay yahoo for the breech of patents, then I think that they should just pay and go on with their company because they are a very good company.

Well I think that facebook should be sued for those silly games too, I think that would be a relief for most facebook users :P hahah

I'm quite sure that Facebook is going to win, because I see Yahoo! as a company starting to show grey hairs, while Facebook has still a long way to go - I heard they will start selling stock. And I agree that we Internet users are going to be the ones who will suffer the most, because we are one of the vital elements of the company, the lifeblood that keeps them running.
