to refer 5 friends!!! The simplicity of the site caught my attention oh yeah. They are sorta like facebook and they share all revenue with members. I was all ready to sign up until after reading the terms. You will not earn until you refer 5 friends. How dare they. Oh well I pass. Has anyone joined yet? What do you think about this site? Looks like if you are a very social person, it could pay well.

I believe in teamwork and I think that you do too, right? Intichat does indeed state in their Terms, FAQs and on their 'how to earn' page, that you will only earn after you refer 5 other people from 5 different IP addresses. After that they pay at $5 through Paypal for basically doing the same thing (and more because there are polls, quizzes and a forum) that we do for free on Facebook. As there are no referral earnings it seems to me that user A could refer 5 and then help their own referrals from then onwards, starting with the first one who owuld be user B. Then they move down the list of 5 until all of them have their own 5 referrals. If everyone helps everyone else instead of being greedy then it could work out well

Yes I do believe in teamwork however it should not be the only factor in my earnings. For teams to work well, there should be like minded members with the same work ethics. Thats hard to find on the internet without actually knowing the individuals personally. Everyone wants to belong to something, make some money online, get rich, etc etc but when it comes down to the real task at hand, honestly its hard work which no one wants to do. All you have to do is read the types of posts here in MEM. Working online is a real job, just like offline so why is everyone looking for an easy way out? You say just because people choose to not help others they are greedy. There are more ways to help people than just being part of a team or getting them referrals. Give a man a fish and he eats for one day. Show them how to fish and they eat forever. To me, thats the best type of team work, teaching by example.

Yes, I am well aware of the topics (and responses) in this interest. Ah but on Intichat we do not earn anything from our referrals. We just have to refer them in order to start earning and from then on we only earn by our own efforts and the number of votes that our 'work' receives. When I earn from what I do, I am fine with that and as after I have referred 5 the others would be superfluous to me, I have no problems with putting womeone eles ref link in my banners. Thatis not exactly hard work to get them moving too

Hey mysdianait, Should the referrals must be active ? Is there any rules or policies regarding them ?
5 May 12
sounds so interesting but often sites like that tend to be a scam. Why it should be a requirement to refer five friends before member of it can earn? Considering it is paying now, I wouldn't be surprised if one day the site will not pay anymore. They can change their policy and terms anytime they want I am sure that is stated in there. So I must say in my opinion, I don't like joining such kind of sites. Besides I am not willing to refer my friends to a site which I am not sure yet if it is paying or not.

Ha, that's my book too! I was doing some market testing on titles and prices. I know those "dummies" books sell real well. Thanks for the encouragement, needs lots of it!! Yeah its getting that way with me about joining new sites. Not unless a mylotter recommends them, I usually dont join. Happy mylotting

Hey!sergeantrom I know this has nothing to do with your discussion, but yesterday I stumbled upon your new ebook. I was surprise because about two weeks ago I found and ebook on Amazon with the same title but for dummies they're selling their's for half of what you are charging. I also found another ebook about the same subject title but it was free and it has a lot of advance info in it. Good Luck with your online ventures. And about the website you ask about I never join a site unless it is well establish or very popular and has no black marks against it.

Just to update you. The site was in beta when you started this topic and today they have updated their Terms. All that is required now to be able to particpate in the earnings program is to have 3 referrals and to have 1100 Megapoints. These are obtained by completing offers and sign-ups (most of which are free) and for example following the site on Twitter and fB which adds up to 400 points. I know that you don't need the link to be able to see for yourself

On behalf of everyone here, thanks for the update! I hope its working out for you too. I am going in a different direction myself. Going back to writing again and refocusing everything. Wont have too many gpt sites unless they are not time consuming. Gotta spend all my time on writing now.

Indeed all that is required NOW is a profile picture and 500 Megapoints but this discussion was posted three weeks ago and I never came back to update it.

Probably they are capitalizing that everyone doesn't read the TOS. If everyone starts reading the TOS, we won't get referrals at all. Even if I could refer many, it's like kind of silly to work with that site. If our referrals can't refer anyone or earn, I would feel guilty. Pray they die soon.

Pray they die soon? Well thats harsh. Yeah one big website with tons of fans and no one earning because they only have 4 friends. Guess whose getting all that revenue? OMG this sounds so familiar. You could be right. Perhaps they should die soon.

Sorry for the confusion. Perhaps that is another red flag. I still have facebook but turned off all notifications!!! Dont call me, if I need something, I will call them. With their title, I could see how people would be confused. But isnt that what most people are using facebook for anyway?

Yes, most people use facebook in that way. May be I'm overaged to use those socializing sites. Sending e-gifts / e-flowers and embedding some video about life and love...No, it's not me.

Thank you for let us know I was actually signing up but I search if there is any bad reviews about it and I search your discussion here so I guess I cannot refer 5 people because I hate referrals too. I am just almost fooled by their payout of 5 dollar only how I wish MP5 payout was the same lol

actually they have a good review but the link was coming also to their website which is not reliable if you gave review at your own right.

intichat removed the minimum 5 referral thing and now pays 50 cents per referral plus $1.00 just for signing up, the only thing is you need to complete 500 mega points worth of offers, i've investigated and there's 6500 points worth of offers that do NOT require a credit card, and 6500 points equals a $50 payment via payza or paypal. so you can earn per referral, plus revenue share for uploading pics, vids, blogs, comments ect... And i know many users that have already been paid including myself... they're also 100% verified by scamadvisor.com, paypal, payza, 2checkout and they even posted their articles of incorporation from the state of florida for everyone to view... they're clearly a very legit business

Thanks for the great info and update on this site. Still makes me wonder, why all the changes with their terms? Perhaps to build their membership? Really happy you got paid though. Thats always good to hear. Sorry but I dont like offers at all but at least they are easing up on the terms.

I definitely did not call the site a scam. I question their terms of having referrals in order to be paid but even that has changed now. Just because a site does not work for me, does not mean it wont work for someone else. My position is to share information and it's up to others to determine what's best for them. Like I said, glad its working out for both of you.

At last someone who has done some research and is not slamming the site just because it is new! Too many people just join, then don't see their earnigs increase and are in too much of a hurry to label it as a scam

Although I can refer 5 people with no problem.. I doubt that each and every referral I bring in can as well. That's kind of a silly requirement in my opinion. My other issue is I seem to get a lot of database errors on it.. and I haven't really even signed up or anything. It seems to have issues already, not sure how long this is going to be around.. but something tells me by next year it wont be.

Oh no, servers issues too?! You are correct, way too early for those kinds of issues. Not a good sign at all. Definitely a silly requirement but a lot of new sites are taking this tactic. Bad business if you ask me. Once they get my referrals they have them for life, regardless if they pay or reward me for my valuable data.

What kind of revenue share it is? A cpm based revenue share or revenue share from their whole earning. Did they like yuwie? I prefer to stay at mylot.

Very good questions you have here but I have no clue. Just skimmed the terms you know. Does not really matter the revenue terms if you cant get 5 friends to join right? I choose mylot too.

I was planning to join the site lately but I have come to read your post. Maybe, i will just not sign up because i hardly get referrals even here in mylot. Thanks for the information by the way. However, I just scanned now the terms of service but i can't find anything about the payment thing and that 5 referrals. Maybe i should review it again. Haha.

Oh no, did they take it down? Or perhaps hide it somewhere else? Dont just go by what I posted. Get some more advice from others here. Maybe someone is having luck with them. The terms is what I am looking for these days and just my opinion. Good luck!
