Math: Hard or Challenging and Love it or Hate it

If I ask what is math for you? Do you love or hate it? is it hard or challenging?
For me, I hate it. I hate it because it makes my brain burst and so boring. In fact, I always sleep in my math class. I hate verbal algebra the most, like 'The sum of two real number...' or 'If the plane if flying 30ft height...', something like that. But in my life I always love being challenge, so I still solve and find a solution to any math problem, even though I don't know where I did get my formulas. So always on top on the list, if you start at the bottom. Math really is so hard, hard to explain, hard to understand, and hard to solve. But in top of what I've said I love it, why? Because I can apply it to my daily life. Every challenges came in my life I always solve it in easiest way. That's one thing I've learned from my math teacher in 1st year high school, he told us if you find the formula so long make it short, find a way to make it easy.
Overall, for me math is hard, challenging, i hate it and I love it!

Math was a subject that I either really struggled in or rather did surprisingly well all things considered. There was no in between ground, nothing right in the middle of everything. It was either an amazing grade to add to my record or a subject that I passed right by the skin of my teeth. It was a rather polarizing subject for me during my school days.
I think it was rather all down to how well the teacher taught the subject. There was a certain baseline where some subjects are only something that I did well with if there was a competent teacher. I was kind of neutral about the subject of math but in the hands of a teacher that was not that good, it is rather something that was legalized torture. No question about it.

For me math is a sort of puzzle. That is, I feel it´s a game where you have to learn certain rules to play. But I don´t find it fun, only useful. I´m much more into History, Literature and Philosophy.
