Why Spider-man not included in The Avengers? In fact, he is the first avengers or MARVEL hero shown in 21st century. I also guess, The Amazing Spider-man, will be a great hit movie but are they planning to start the story again?

Yeah - they really pitched a fit about letting go of him. They want to reboot the Spiderman movies and that's where it stands. Let's see how well the new Spiderman does!

People have already mentioned this, but the reason Spiderman and Wolverine are not currently included in the Avengers franchise is because the film rights are currently licensed out to a different filmmaking company than the one producing the Avengers movies. I really don't know why they can't get along and agree to split the profits and have the characters in the films. Your best hope really is that the other companies either relinquish the film rights or decide to enter into a new contract with each other. Anyway, the Avengers did awesome just fine without Spiderman.

The Spiderman movie franchise is legally owned by Sony, not Marvel, despite being based on a Marvel comic. Sony would not give permission for Spiderman to be in the Avengers and so they couldn't include him. Birdie -

I am not familiar with the copyright part but I do know Spiderman is also a Marvel hero as shown in the opening credits of his films. Others say Spiderman wasn't officially part of the Avengers team. And so I asked my "reliable" judges--my kids-- who loved the Avengers movie so much. They said Spiderman was not included in the Avengers movie because he could have just gotten squished like a poor bug in fights. I guess they hold so much awe for Thor, Ironman, Captain America, and the Hulk.

Spider-man and wolverine these characters are now owned by Sony Company thats why they couldn't include him. The original idea for Avengers was including many Heroes. The producer is planning to include spiderman in Avengers' next part. I'd love to see Avengers 2

Spider man should be in avenger ? I really never think about that. Because i don't have much knowledge about Avenger even it is like the best heroes i've seen. I have more knowledge about justice league even i'm not really a fan now. Maybe because of my childhood. And for your question, it can be either of what replies that been said, copyright or just not officially in the team. No matter what, i still think it's the Movie of The Year for 2012.

Hello. They were thinking of inviting him, but the cleaning crew whined about getting more money to clean the extra spiderwebs, and since they were on a tight budget they had to leave him out :p.

Spider Man was not a part of the Avengers. He worked with them on some occasions, but he was never an official part of the group.
