How do you care for your lips?

I exfoliate my lips and then I put on a lip conditioner or lip balm before I put on any lip color. Then, if I have time to do everything I want I will put on a plumping lip liner and then lipstick. To complete the look I add lipgloss. If I'm in a hurry I may just slap on some lipgloss but I really prefer the above. What do you do?

What kind of lipgloss do you like to use? Do you use just a clear one or different colors? I am so addicted to makeup, I have tons of stuff :) I'm working on becoming a makeup artist.

I'm such a dimwit, Tiffanie. I don't even know how you exfoliate your lips. I've never done it. What kind of lip conditioner do you use? Although I have extremely oily skin, my lips are very dry. I use Carmex on my lips when they're dry. That seems to help a lot.

You are so NOT a dimwit! LOL I exfoliate with a lip exfoliater, it really helps a bunch!!! I have used the Avon one in a tube and the mark. one in a pot. I like both but I think I may like the mark one better. Avon makes a great lip conditioner so I'll use either that OR a good lip balm (again, Avon, theirs are really cheap and wonderful! They have great flavored ones but I think the best ones for moisturizing are the Moisture Therapy or the Care Deeply with Aloe). I used to use Carmex when I was younger until I found out there is an ingredient in there that is "addictive".. in other words, it works while you use it but your lips will dry out really fast when you aren't using it (worse then before). That is when I stopped! Plus, carmex is kind of expensive.

Heck Yeah! Avon is awesome! If you ever have any questions about any of the products just let me know. Also, if you wanna see what is new you can check out my website. I can't remember where in FL you are but if you aren't too far I could be your rep or you could order right off of my website or I could ship stuff to you... or I could find you a rep in your area :) The two different lip exfoliaters I have.. the Avon one is like a lipstick so you swipe it on like you would lipstick and then wipe it off, the mark. one is like in a little pot (you would use this similar to the carmex) and then wipe it off.

I would suggest getting the mark. brand! Also, if you love lipgloss you might want to check theirs out, it's awesome! I think their lip gloss is the best I have ever used. If you want me to find you an Avon rep in your area let me know.

i seldom use lipstick, on occassions only. i often use nivea lip care (cherry kiss). plus on nights that are cold, i put petrolium jelly on my lips.
