Hi Friends, Mumbai Indian stunned Chennai Super Kings by hitting 14 runs from last 3 balls.I think surely they will be disappointed with Ben Hilfenhaus.I think Dough Bollinger is far better than Ben. Dhoni said that Doug was bowling some no balls in the net session but Ben gave free hits for the last 3 balls to award Mumbai Indians a triumph.Chennai looked good with their batting in the last 2 games when compared to the other matches they played except their chase against RCB.Bowling has not been great for them and they need to bring at least 2 specialist bowlers in their team to win the match.Kulasekara and Doug need to play the last 4 games and Chennai must drop du Plesis. So friends,do you think Chennai Super Kings still have a chance to enter the playoffs?

I still feel that CSK can make it to the playoffs. But for this they would need to win at least 2 of their remaining matches and hope that results elsewhere go their way. I thought if they had won today, then they would have had one foot already in the playoffs, but they lost today off the final ball. Cheers! Ram

friend, you are mistaken i believe.chennai played 12 matches with just 11 points.they need to win all their matches to get 19 points for playoffs.even if they lose one, they will be stuck on 17 points while other teams go for 18 points. so unless they win all 4,its not possible for them to enter play-offs.good thing they got no more matches against MI but got one against daredevils.

My calculations based on cross games between the teams indicate that the final playoff spot might close at 15 or 16 points. It could be lower if Delhi continue their current form and DC cause some upsets. Cheers! Ram

Wow ! great match Dwayne Smith stuns Chennai as he fires too hard in the end. In an thrilling encounter Mumbai beat Chennai in the last-ball as Dwayne Smith, who playing his first match this season smashed boundary off the final ball. Mumbai Indians won by 2 wickets. As Mumbai Indians needing 14 off the last three deliveries. Smith hits a six first to changes equation to eight off two balls and then made a full toss ball goes over the bowler's head and the final ball to long-off to bring the victory. Before this Sachin Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma made a 126 runs stand between them to gave the fight to Chennai, but middle orders collapse. As they need 38 off 24 balls which then turns to 16 of 6 balls. The was some twist in the middle as Mumbai lost controls from where they can easily win the match. MS Dhoni then sprung a surprise using the Ravindra Jadeja, he picked up two wickets in his two-run over. Tendulkar played superb as he was made 74. It was good performance from top order of Chennai who contributed well enough that was carried on by later batsmen to score a tough target. The openers added 47 and Suresh Raina and Bravo put together 62, Dhoni and Bravo added of 44 in just under four overs to make it 173 for Chennai. you right Doug need to play the last 4 games but Chennai drop du Plesis is wrong decesion. chennai have to win matches to get min last 2 that only hope

If they win rest of their matches or 3 of the 4 matches, then they can enter the 4th place and qualify for the play offs

Chennai super kings still have the chances to get into the play-off. For getting into the they have to work hard and need to put their best performance in the coming games. They need to win all the coming matches with good nut rate. So that they can get into the top four point table.
