Young people should be encouraged to work or travel before college!!!

In some country, young people are encouraged to work or travel before college, while young people here are asked to enter the college soon to save time. In most of time, young people in my country do not know clearly what they want and what they like, they choose the unsuitable major, just because it is hot or popular, in a college nearby. After graduation choose a work and spend all their life in the way their parents want them to be. It is really saving time before the college, but wasting a whole life in return. Think twice before action is known by people here, but in their daily life,they never put the word into practice. I think to young people, they should choose the suitable life by themselves, also it need them to pay some price. Going to work or have a great travel before college is a good way to do that. So that, they can find out what they like, what they can do and know how h people in other places lead their lives.
