Retired players with injuries and head injuries! I truly believe men who play football know the risk of injury and head trauma! The should not be sueing the NFL! I think it is stupid! I understand the NFL is trying to make the game safer. The commissioner is fining players and handing out suspensions. Equipment has really improved over the years but it won't stop the problems! Head trauma and other injuries will continue. Players need to realize this and if they fear injury,then don't play the game! Plan and simple! That is my look at this situation!

Money hungry men oh yes! In all sports there is danger! Hockey is ever worse when it comes to head injuries! We don't hear more about because football is the number one sport in the uS! In Cananda and other countries hockey is number one! Anyway they know the risks and should not be complaining!

I agree with you 100 per cent. It is stupid. But then again so are most football players. They've probably crunched their heads so many times that any and all common sense is gone. Now they expect to be compensated?!? Give me a break.
If these goof ball players get what they want in this lawsuit, whoever it is that grants them their wish is just as much of a jerk.

Oh you are so right. I fully agree. It's ridiculous what all those bozos are trying to get away with.
This week's espn bottom line scroll featured yet another nfl player who was arrested just a few days ago. The same loser was arrested last month. 
Between that type of stupidity and the nature of the sport where so many injuries occur??... Enough said is right.

There are so many law suits against the NFL is mind blogging! I hope none of the law suits go to court! I hope all are settled out of court and all the ex football players don't get a cent! These guys know what they get themselves into when play football! Enough said!

lost my response grrrrrr.copy paste, that is so moronic as they sign up they know they could get head injures and other injuries in that rough a sport. reminds me of the moronic lady who sued
McDonald's for burns from hot coffee.She put the container of boiling
hot coffee between her thighs as she had not cup holder. so of course she was driving in heavy traffic so the coffee cup upset and the woman got badly scalded. It was clearly her own fault.
