I am watching the "Rumor" episode of Glee Season 2 yesterday and what caught my attention is about gossiping. Ms. Sylvester gave an example of how gossiping is. It is like squeezing a toothpaste out of its container and try returning it back. This means, is gossips came out already from anyone else's mouth, it cannot be returned or you find difficulty of returning it back. This reminds me of one of the movies I watched, Doubt. One of the character (as priest) in his homily is about gossiping. He mentioned a situation wherein a known gossiper was instructed to bring a feather-filled pillow and go out at the roof top. Then, she let all the feathers out of the pillow and let it carried by the wind. Then, she was instructed to collect all the feathers and return it into the pillow case. She cannot do it because she doesn't know how far the feathers reached. And that is how gossiping was. Happy mylotting.
