I want to enhance my workspace at home

If you do not have time a good solution is to browse home furnishing company's websites, like ikea, target, office depot, and macys. Ikea is probably the easiest because it has several designs of per-arranged spaces, such as offices, already put together. Each item they have in their designed space works cohesively as a design, and you can pick and choose which items you want. Then you can buy them online, have them delivered, and not waste time going out to shop and choose items as you would in a store.

I sort of feel like you do also. I have my computer in my dining room and I would like to have a nice neat private work apace for myself. I also get frustrated with my girl friend walking around and looking over my shoulder. That annoys me to no end. I need to rethink where my computer is.

You told us a few days ago that you have plenty of room at home. What you need is to make a place cozy. I´m sure you can buy second hand furniture to help you out. Check online. As for having an old armchair around, what I did with a couple of old ones was to throw some coloured ponchos over them. I´m sure you can get one or two from your husband´s family.
