Hello Lotters,
It's good to know that mylot is kinda back a little bit here. though there are some set backs with the search engine. well, let's go back to the show, there was some sort of a suspense there and the contestants were given a recall on their last performances.
All contestants had a bad first or second song, but unfortunately most negative critiques went to Holly because of her song choice. there's no denying she has talent but she chose the wrong song even though it's her favorite. 
. and that cost her the low votes, I admit phillip chose some right songs there and i don't know what to say about joshua, he seemed to be good as the judges say it. well, Jessica is throwing her own arsenal out there, but i know it's gonna get harder now.
the first person called to be safe was Jessica, it was a thrilling experience to me. then Joshua, lastly between Phillip and Hollie, it was hollie that was voted off.
When she started singing her last song, she was giving people hugs and shake hands while Joshua and Jessica had tears.

I didn't see ANYTHING wrong with Holly's songs or how she delivered them. That guy that critiques them sets the stage to how America votes. I know someone had to go. If it were me, I would have sent Philip home. I believe either the black guy or Jessica should win, but I almost except Philip will be the one that wins.

Phillip apparently is locked for the finals, Look out of the top 3 we only have 1 girl left and look at the winners in the last 4 years. Jessica must do something amazing if she wanted to outlast Josh...Its a toss up between the 2 of them. Holly is the one that shows improvement week after week but we know who are the 2 people eliminated before her, They have Ryan trying to sabotage Phillip but his fanbase seemed solid.

Exactly. He is the only one who refuses to be changed by this whole process. He wouldnt change his look or his clothes for them and he is the one that seems to be the favorite. He seems to change the least. The other ones have all jumped through hoops to try and keep the judges happy.

True, I wouldn't be surprise either if P2 ends up winning the whole thing. He can sing bad, good, same, or whatever he wants and would still be safe from elimination. While the other two now, really have to do something dramatically great to be safe.

I was so excited earlier when I woke up and so eager to know who the top 3 finalist are, logging in to mylot even before my brain even started working. I was hoping to see your post on who the top 3 are, since I always count on you on the results, but unfortunately I wasn't able to do so because of the runtime error 
So seeing the runtime error again, I started searching online for some news and when I saw it, Hollie's face there at the headline part, my heart was beating fast and my mind woke up to the excitement. Read the news fast and confirmed that my fave Jessica was in the top 3 
. I am so satisfied with the top 3, no offense to Hollie, we know she can sing but, I am more a fan of Joshua, Phillip and Jessica. Now, I am more excited to see next week's performance. I can really tell, it is so hard to judge with those 3 remaining finalist. They are all so good

Hello Gaiza, I think this is a terrible situation for both Phillip or Jessica, according to the rules, the songs will be based from three; producers, judges and fans. there was a story about season where abdula gave jasmine trias a song that wasn't fit for her voice that made the performance so awful that made her eliminated.

Well, we just can't anticipate an easy task for the top 3. The competition will really be getting harder and harder now. Let's just hope Jessica will show off her best this week which I am confident she can. I don't know with Phillip, since I think he is not really that good on all genres.

Personally I was not a Fan of Holly's and think she should have gone sooner than she did. In my opinion there are better singers that left before her, but I did enjoy listening to her accent. Personally I am not sure if I have always agreed with America's choices this yr. but the one I would like to Win it is still there, so may the best man or women win.

Hello Krause, they probably have votes for hollie and not enough for either colton or skylar. besides, she stands out until top 4. i hope jessica would win the whole thing here.her path wasn't easy and she almost got eliminated. i hope things will go well for her and Phillip tomorrow.

It is surprising though i didn't know Phillip will last till the top 3..who knows who will win? i hope jessica will win i didn't get to watch it now... it is hubby who watches it

Hello Cttolledo, well, it's not really a good thing for another country to claim her but we are proud of how she has come far.I believe the people of San Diego has always been proud of him.I will do my best to make sure that i get to watch it until the end. it's amazing that it was only this season where i got addicted to watching American Idol

Hello factorial, I do hope Jessica Sanchez makes it to the Top 2 because the rules are simply different when you are at the top 3. chances of her winning this thing is really crucial. at least those who had been eliminated will be able to make the song for their own and have their own recording deal.

It's definitely close now. Just one more, then the finals. I do believe that Jessica has the talent to take it all the way. And I'm not just saying this because of the "Filipino pride". I'm not that kind of person. I hate it when people decide to vote just because of that. But this time, I do believe she is the most talented of group. It would be great if she wins.

Hello swirlz, It seems that Filipinos in most part of the world have gathered to support her to the fullest. there had been a lot of Filipino contestants in American Idol but we have to be honest they didn't have the level compare to jessica sanchez. i think Jessica had more training plus her talent in singing that reach her this far. she made most right choices of songs.

well i know its almost over and were all excited to see who wins.. i wish i had been watching it every time it came on, i just catch it here and there so i dont feel right as to say im for this one or that one since i have not seen it enought to vote who is good or bad.. but from what i have seen so far my money is on jessica. but we will have to wait and see.. take care

Hello Laken02, Yes it's actually two weeks of a show left and this will indefinitely be fun to boot.but this is the first time in my life that i get to see the entire segment of the show compare to the last ten seasons. my cousin who was an American Idol fanatic used to watch it all the time, which I wasn't.

Oh well, what can I say.
Again, I have to say that Hollie is so pretty- I really like her face, she reminds me of Nicole Kidman (small pretty face)
But, pretty face is not enough aint?- and it's not the judges conviction alone whether she stays or not- it's people's decision as well.
Whoever wins for this season- I wish to see the Philippine flag on American Idol

Hello Jaiho-sis, The real mistake was hollie chose the song not fit for her voice and i sense that when i saw the performance. she has a power voice but the song choice didn't release her potential. I wonder, if she had survived for the top 3, how can she exert her potential if the song wasn't her choice and it was not good.

Yeay to Top 3! And I think that it was just right to send Hollie home. The other 3 were just powerhouses. So it boils down to 3!!! Of course my bet is Jessica. The other one I'd like in Top 2 is Phillip. I don't know why I don't like Joshua. But, he seems to be a Judge's favorite. Although, I'll say that Phillip is a crowd favorite, so he's got strong support. I hope all FilAms there give their support to Jessica. At least we could really be proud of her because of her powerful voice.

Hello GloryaCam, Though i doubt every one supports her because i saw a few people supporting for Skylar before, but i hope the rest will go for Jessica now as she is the only one competing for the top 3. nope, not really powerhouse but they chose the right song are at least songs that fit their voices. hollie just couldn't exert her potential on that song she chose
