This Girl And That Guy

I saw him yesterday
He was talking with a girl
I didn't know what's his relationship with that girl
But my heart throbbed...
And I felt pain around the edges of the hole
Where a part of my heart used to be
I was hurt because when I saw them
I found myself seeing us.
Back when everything was still okay
I wished that everything was okay
That everything would go back
to the way it was before...
That I was still that girl
And he was still this guy
even if we were just friends.
But no matter what I do
And no matter how much I wish for it
Nothing's gonna change
Cause now I'm this girl
And he's that guy
And we're not friends.
i wrote this many years ago... probably 5 years ago.. haha!
when i read this i always feel that this me was probably hurting so much before. =(
but luckily i'm okay now and i'm happy... =)
and that guy as well is also happy with that girl... =)

I used to compose poems for my bf before and every time I check my notebook of poems, I get to smile and think those days. But that ex has a family now and I am also going there soon. He is happy and I am happy, too.
It is so nice to reminisce good old memories, but never look back. It is good to think of the good memories in a while and just be happy with it. There is always a purpose for everything.

that's so nice.. i also like reading poems.. why don't you post/share some here? and it's really nice to remember the old memories may it be sad or a happy one because there are lessons there in our experiences. =) and God bless you in starting a new family. may you have more happy memories to come. =)

They say "never lost hope till there's life".
As long as both of you are still single and available- we never knew what happen next.
If you are meant for each other, only time can tell.
It's been 5 months and you've wrote this 5 years ago..

I'm happy because now you can get over him. What you've had with him let only be a small part of your life journey. We must look to the future and leave the past as memories and lessons.
