Will you help me with this?

I am asking all of my friends here for a huge favor. I have a friend that is in need of prayers. He got in trouble hanging out with the wrong kind of people and is locked up right now. He means a lot to my family, my kids were very close with him. I never thought this would happen, he is just not that kind of person. Hes never been in trouble before. I know there will be people who make judgements without knowing him but please for all of the open minded people please pray for him. We need a miracle. I trust this man with my life, I cannot wrap my head around the fact that he is in there... So please say a little prayer for him. Do you or anyone you know have a prayer request? I will be happy to pray for those that need it! Do you know anyone that has been locked up but just didnt seem like the type to get in any trouble? I am sad tonight. =(

I am so sorry for your friend, I will send up some prayers for him tonight. Just remember, He is in control and if your friend is really sorry, I thoroughly believe it will work out for him.. As for having my own prayer request, well I am desperately trying to finish revising my story and ended up changing some things.. I know I probably shouldn't but when I read it, it just didn't fit right into the storyline or I had to change a restaurant because I have banned it since i wrote the first draft. I also need favor in a mistake I made when I made a purchase and didn't find out until the time was up, that my purchase was flawed, so I lost money, but I know He can restore what was taken, even if it was my mistake..

Thank you so much! He really needs prayers. I know God will take him out of there. He just does not belong there... I will definitely be praying for you also. I am sure your story is amazing already but I will pray for it to be exactly how you want it so you can be satisfied with it! We are our own worst critic. He will restore whats been taken. :) You will be in my prayers friend! =)

I felt it on my heart to share something, not as serious as being put in jail, but I also made a mistake recently, one that would have cost me 35.00. That may not sound like a lot, but for someone who doesn't have a full time job, even 5.00 is something. My prayer for your friend is a prayer for favor. Praying for favor means that we know we did wrong, but G♥d turns the situation around for us. What happened is I bought a hard drive for my computer because the one I have now is too small. My son helped me pick one on newegg and I ordered it, and had only a limited amount of time to return it. With the holidays, spring cleaning, and trying to work on my story, time got away. I finally gave the hard drive to my son to install it only to find it didn't come with a SATA cable, a cable that connects the drive to the computer. As one who tries to save money, it took me over a week to find one under 10.00 and when he installed the hard drive, it didn't work. When he told me, it was already 4 days past the time limit, but I thought I'd contact newegg anyway. I explained the situation and even said that I understand it is past the time limit, and instead of a refund, I would like an exchange. They replied back that it was 5 days over, (only because they didn't open my message until the following day) and gave me a link to Hitachi to contact them and said if I can reply with any questions or concerns I had. So, I contact Hitachi who said, "sure we can replace it for you, just send the invoice and picture of the label on the hard drive" I did only for another reply that for some reason they can't exchange this product. Disappointed, I thought that it was a lesson learned and perhaps I can have my husband give it his friend who build computers, that maybe he can use it and went about saving up once again for another hard drive. Though in the back of my mind, I imagined that my husband's friend would see what the problem is, fix it and give it back, but I did't dwell on it, just gave it to G♥d. I contacted newegg to let them know that Hitachi couldn't replace it and that I had a hard drive on a wish list and will have to save up for it. I thanked them for their time and in a way I kind of hoped by letting them know what was going on, that they would reconsider. This happened Thursday, and by Friday I had packed up the hard drive for my husband to take on Monday. Saturday morning I signed into my e-mail and saw I had 3 messages from newegg. One telling me that the guy had talked to his supervisor who approved a RMA label which means I have 7 days to return this hard drive, free shipping, and they will exchange it for another.. Needless to say, I was on cloud 9 all day yesterday and though they really didn't have to do this other than I would have had a negative outlook because they sent me a bad hard drive, even though it was my fault for not returning it sooner. So G♥d still gives favors to those who ask and if it is His will. Like I said, I know it is nothing compared to your friend's situation, but if it gives anyone hope that his or her mistakes can be turned around, this is a good example..:)

Although I am not into religion and do not believe, I will keep him in my thoughts. If it is his first time, then there is a real good chance he will get out. I feel bad for you. And if he is not that kind of person I bet he did learn his lesson and will never hang with those kinds of people again.

I am sure he will be released soon. Just keep on doing what you're doing. Everyone makes mistakes in this world and the good ones learn from it.

Although I am late to this discussion, I still hope and pray that everything worked out. If not yet, I hope that the addition of my prayers would help in this miracle. And I hope you're feeling a little bit better.

I'm very sorry to hear that :( I pray that you and your family make it through this. I know how difficult things can get, especially if you're unable to be with the one you love. My boyfriend left for the army today and I'm devastated as well as slightly scared due to all the conflicts in the middle east. I pray for him constantly and that he comes back safely. I'll be sure to add a prayer for your family next time

Thank you. He is such a good friend and my husband misses him like crazy too. He is like an uncle to our kids so were all really upset about it. =( I am sorry your boyfriend left for the army. Your much stronger than I am because I could NOT handle deployments and everything. No thank you. I live in a military town and it blows my mind all of the army wives that do not lose their damn minds, I know I would. I will also be praying for you and your boyfriend to be safe!

Yeah it is too bad because he is such a good person. Just a little immature I guess. He got set up for breaking and entering. He faces up to 10 years for it. I wish they would just set bail and let him out, I know I am asking for a miracle here...

I doubt or perhaps I wonder what praying will help. I think the miracle your friend needs "you" have to work on. Only if you act something will change in his situation. Since he means a lot to you and your kids I think it's worth fighting for that. Many of us hang out with the wrong people or getting into trouble because of others, most problems we have to deal with are because of others (who don't seem to care about us suffering). Blessings to you and him and positive thoughts I hope there is someone near you who is willing to help you out. Since this is what you need now.

There are some people who be put in the jail without doing any mistakes. Such people are trapped by others and is sent to the jail. I will surely pray for your friend to get him out from jail if if do not commit any mistakes. God will always with your friend if he is put into jail for unwanted reasons.

I understand how you feel. Not everyone who is locked up is a bad person. I know of people who are locked up that have done bad things, but are not necessarily bad people. They have just encountered hardships in their life and at the time were desperate, made the wrong decision, and got caught. I'm sure your friend would appreciate letters from you, it can get boring doing nothing all day :) stay strong!

Thats funny that you mentioned writing a letter because I just did that today. =) Thats eactly it. He made a bad choice but hes an amazing person. This broke my heart. I am trying to stay strong, thank you. Hes like a brother to my husband and like an uncle to my kids so its hurting all of us. =(
