Remember this quote from the brilliant film Silence of the Lambs? "A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti." This movie was probably the most frightening psychological thriller I had seen at that time - Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter standing up in his cell confronting the young FBI trainee which was played by Jodie Foster. It it not a film I want to watch on my own for its raw evil. Still, I will watch it again. There are some films I watch many times, looking for different things in the film - script - structure - plot and so on.

I remember how I became a vegan temporarily for 2 months after watching that scene, I thought it was a drama movie when my sister rented it because of Jodie Forster. Its so twisted that a psychologiest is crazy and he is cannibalistic,I was like 10 years old when I watched it. i also watched the sequel Hannibal but I havent watched Red dragon and the prequel with Gong li on it.

I havent watch the prequel, all I know is that Hannibal is played by a younger man, not by hopkins, he is like going to be mentored by his step mother who is played by Gong li.

Silence of the Lambs is one of the greatest film ever released, I have seen this film few time. Anthony Hopkins did an excellent job, Jodie Foster was also good but Anthony Hopkins over shadowed everyone in the film.
This is one of the films which you can watch over and over again and won't get quiet bored ...

That movie was too morbid for my taste. I didn't watch the entire thing and I have no desire to watch it.
I only saw bits and pieces where I decided I didn't want to fill my mind and heart with fear.
I usually like Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster; however, we can be grateful that most people are not that mentally twisted.
