Euroleague Final4, Olympiacos gets the title after 15 years.

Greetings basketball fans, In the last weekend (11-13) in Istanbul it took place the Euroleague final4. Lets start from the semis: In the first semi final between CSKA and Panathinaikos the winner was CSKA while the greens had their complaints about the refs. The final score was 66-64 with Kirilenko being the first scorer for CSKA with 17 while the Lithuania veteran Sarunas Jasikevicius scored 19 points. In the second semi final between Barcelona and Olympiacos, the winner was Olympiacos even though they were the underdogs in the match. The final score was 68-64 with V.Spanoulis being the first scorer for the reds with 21 points while Juan Carlos Navarro was first for Barcelona with 15 points. In the 3rd place decider the final score was 74-69 for Barcelona with Huertas having 21 points while Dimitris Diamantidis scored 17 points for Panathinaikos. In the final, CSKA was in front for the biggest part of the game reaching the gap even to 19 points in the 28' with 53-34. At this point Olympiacos started an amazing comeback and got in front with a shot by Printezis 62-61 with 0.7" remaining making the reds the new champs. Teodosic was the first scorer with 15 point for CSKA while the reds' youngster Papanikolaou was the first scorer for the with 18 points. Your thoughts about it?

I weas expecting La Bomba to lift Barcelona to the title the way he's done the past few years, but Vassoulis Spanoulis just won't be denied. Glad he got something going after his NBA stint didn't work out so well.

I was expecting Diamantidis on the other hand to lift the trophy for the 2nd consecutive year but Olympiacos deserved the title, they played good against Barcelona and they made a flawless last period against CSKA.
