Chuck Brown Dies

The Godfather of Go-Go, Chuck Brown, has died. He was 75 years old. Please share your memories of Chuck Brown. May he rest in peace. He will be missed.

I've never heard of him, but then again, I live in the heart of the Austin music scene and don't know most of those folks either - and it seems I went to school at some point with one of them!

I bet the music scene in TX is pretty special. I have never been to Texas. I would love to visit someday.

Probably my brother could tell you more, I don't like clubs, loud noise, crowds or smoke - tho the latter is not so much of a problem these days...

I really don't have many memories. He wasn't from my generation, and although I've heard his music, I don't know much about him.

He was a music legend who was a DC native. My brother saw him in concert several times.
