hi rkennedee. first off, welcome to mylot! i'm sure you'll enjoy your stay here. just make sure to abide by mylot's rules and regulations and you'll do well. going back to your discussion,i'm a big fan of the series 'man vs food'. i think during its four season run, the show and its host, adam richman, really found a niche in tv and build a good following and fan base. i always watched the show and hoped that adam richman wins the eating challenge at the end of each show. another thing that i particularly like is how the show puts the current location in a very good light and gives us audience an insight as to what makes the place or particular restaurant/food very special to its local residents. i understand though that there have been criticisms about the show, how it is about excess and gluttony amidst the current state of poverty and hunger in other parts of the world. anyway, the series did end after four seasons and over-all i think it is a fun show to watch and pardon the pun very easy on the stomach.

hi rkennedee. to answer your question, adam richman has mentioned in a couple of interviews how he prepares for these food challenges. a day before the challenge, he usually eats very light and consumes a lot of water to expand his stomach. he doesn't drink any cola or coffee before the day of the challenge. i agree with you about craving for the food he features in his show. i've tried quite a couple of foods he has featured including putting not so ordinary ingredients in my recipes. cheers and happy mylotting!!!

I do like that show. My favorite final challenge was when he had to down all those shakes. It's sad that he retired.

I like the burgers with a lot of cheese, fries, and other stuff. It's mouth watering.
