Affordable healthcare act leaves students without coverage

Under the new health care reform law, insurance coverage for students is going to double in the next year, and nearly triple the following year. At a college in Ohio, the health care offered students was $600.00. According to the new law, the coverage must be increased to $100,000 USD. The increase is the result of the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Students up to age 26 can be covered by their parents' policy. The act doesn't leave them without coverage, it is just shifting.
