Even when the technology does become so advance, I would still not be having such a brain surgery to increase my IQ level. It is true that IQ is very important in determining one's intelligence, but having a lower IQ doesn't mean that you won't be successful in life. Besides, having a brain surgery is always going to have risk no matter how advance technology really gets. That's me though.

No, I will not accept any surgical procedure just to increase my IQ, after all in a long run it might cause some brain damage in the long run since it is very sensitive procedure. I am happy with my brain and IQ level was quite good, also it made me for who I am and for what I am. I am very contented for what I have. :)

I think that it would be financaly unavalible for most of people. But I don't think I would have one. Because as my parents told me, you are learning through all your life. :D However if it would be possible, there would be to many oversmarted people. ;)
