Last 2 contestants for American Idol

Phillip is still in the competition and may still win this because of 3 reasons. The last 4 winners in the last 5 years are the "White guy with a guitar" which is a popular voting magnet to little girls, teenage girls and even women, they are basing the votes due to infatuation. The male audience fully abandoned Idol and moved to the voice and X-factor. Girls vote for their crush....but once he released his album....its a failure... Then Phillip Phillip is supported by Vote for the worst.... Really? Joshua got voted out? i'm disappointed. At least Jessica now has more chance of winning, at least for me. Philip is good but I really don't like his voice it seems as if he's just singing the same song over and over again .

I missed that particular episode. I wanted to know what Joshua's reaction was about his elimination, same as that of the judges, the two remaining contestants, the host, and the audience. I would have preferred to see Jessica and Joshua battle it out to the finish because their singing skills and styles are at par.

Wow, that's really great news. So, Jessica did make it to Top 2. Right now, I'm already happy for her, even if she won't get the number 1 spot. That's already a big achievement for Jessica and the Filipino community.

hello D, I am not losing hope for Jesse though its very clear that people are really voting much for Philips. Honestly, for the final three- I have fear for Jesse since Joshua's performance always gets a standing ovation and he really did good. I am also thinking it is Joshua's time to reign this season- and so bad, he was voted out. I know Philips sings good- but okay, even the judges don't feel good with the results.

I hope Jessica wins, as she really deserves, comparing her singing prowess against Philip. Watching their home fan base especially of Jessica in California and Philip's hometown, they got both tremendous support. On the other hand, i think Philip is more popular amongst women in America.

Well, I was shocked Joshua got eliminated to- but Phillip just has lots of teenage girls voting for him. I sure hope jessica wins since she will achieve lots of things like being the first Asian, Mexican winner- and a girl too.

Quit suprising that Joshua got eliminated but Phillip did a great job yesterday. Still Jessica for the win. Hope her sore throat will get away and do a great performance in the finale. Go go go Jessica.

I hope Jessica will win becuase she is singing well but I am nut sure about it. The ultimate victory depends on how they sing and hoe they are voted.

I think Joshua was eliminated because I'm sure the teenyboppers LOVED Philip therefore he got the popular vote! I think all three of their voices are beautiful and they will all go very far in their career! Best top 3 on american idol TO DATE!

I watched some of Jessica's videos online and she's really great. I really hope she'll win. This will be a great mark for Filipinos. :)

I hope that Jessica will win! I am a Filipino American so I am Filipino proud.Lol But I do respect Philip and he is very talented.

Philip has a lot of female fans though his performance are the lowest among the three, we cannot deny that his heartthrob looks can uplift him
