My baby's smile when she's asleep...

I have a baby named Angelli, she is already 9 months old, unlike the other babies at her age, she's not active and she likes to sleep too much. It's amazing that when she's sleeping, she keeps on smiling and when I'm watching her, I wonder what she's dreaming?

It's so nice to watch babies sleeping. And yes, when they smile on their sleep- we want to kiss them but afraid that might awake. I also like watching my babies sleeping when they are small and it feels great seeing their innocent smile.

hi deine86, Congrats for being a mom and i am sure you are enjoying each and every activity of your baby. What make you think she's not active like others? Der please don't ever compare your kid with other's as everyone is blessed. Some babies are slow starters but that won't create a problem later on. Ok, in our tradition we believe that God is playing with the baby while at sleep, making them smile. Scientifically it could be the gas in their belly or they are dreaming about their next bottle

Who says she is not active? It's normal for a kid to develop brains or body, seldom both of them. So intelligent kids are mostly (kind of) clumsy. My eldest daughter and son both were not very active. Both slept a lot as well and still can. Both started talking on the age of 4 or older but perfectly. So they observed everything.. I can tell you that tires out as well. Both are not only very intelligent but also have many talents and are very active now. I hope your baby will have the chance to be who she is, that the happiness and peace she feels will be there in the rest of her life, without people telling her she doesn't fit the standard or label her as abnormal. Those who are different make the difference in this world, not the sheep in the cattle is.
