hi friends.i thought its only fair to start a discussion on jadeja after the end of the league games, atleast for chennai. question most people want to know is whether jadeja in the team as a batsmen or bowler or allrounder? if he is all-rounder,is he a batsmen who can bowl or a bowler who can bat? to be honest when i saw his performance this season,i am not sure of the answer. jadeja as batsmen got to bat only 13 times and scored 190 runs at a strike rate of 128 with 9 sixes. guess what? he faced just 150 balls.thats less than 10 balls per innings. does that sounds like a batsmen? i think not. how about bowling. he bowled in 13 matches and got 11 wickets.sounds impressive. if you take out the 5 wicket haul against clueless deccan chargers,he got 6 wickets in 12 matches? well not bad. but once again he bowled just 33 overs in 16 matches.thats pretty much 2 overs per match? does that sounds like a bowler? not sure. how about all-rounder? looking at his statistics, what kinda all-rounder he is? a bowler who can bat a bit or batsmen who can bowl a bit? i let that for your decision. on top of that,is this guy realy worth the 2 million dollars? what makes him so special that mere mortals like us cannot see but only Dhoni see?

Of course, he has been the dud of the season in terms of cost to value. I think the biggest problem for Chennai though is that the constant rotation of batsmen meant that players never got settled in any position and really that has cost them dearly this season. Cheers! Ram

really Jadeja is a good all rounder. it's chennai super kings and dhoni not utilize him properly. i am not supporting jadeja. i know he is not worth for 2 million $. even he didn't perform for worth of 2000$. I think dhoni made chennai super kings to buy jadeja. we all know dhoni supports jadeja right from the start of his career. I am also confused like you what makes him so special for dhoni.

The team should spent money for other successful players and it should be done in next time.

When jadeja was in kochi he was a super all rounder. He was an wonderful player who has the capability to do both bowling and batting but this he couldn't perform to his best because if got less chances. He mostly have his batting chance when chennai has a fall of lot of wickets. So in my opinion if should be given some chances for proving his batting talents. Any way i think chennai could buy any other good player with this huge money.
