Many people like to chat with many people at the same time when be online. There are many chatting windows on the computer screen and they just type and typing so fast. I often do chat using Yahoo messenger and Skype. However, honestly i CAN'T do like that, i may send wrong message to another guy... and it may raise problems while chatting, especially when i am chatting with boyfriend. I just try to chat with 1 person at a time only. If there are many guys sending messages to me, i just choose an urgent case, reply and finish it and then i chat with the next person. Sometime, if i am really busy i will say i am busy and i can't chat now. How about you guys? What do you do if there are many people wanna chat with you at the same time? Are you good in chatting with many guys at the same time.

Back in college, I used to love chatting. I sometimes sleep late because every day there were many different people I was chatting with. I can manage to chat with them, but the only problem is when I encounter them again several days later – I have already forgotten some of the info about the person. Right now I don’t chat much. I chat with people I know only. I feel it’s a waste of time chatting with strangers. Although there were some exceptions – if the person seems nice.

Currently I don't like to chat much also, it takes time especially with strange people. I chat with my friends only because i have some friends from other countries and friends living abroad. We still keep in touch then chatting is a way to save money instead of talking by phone.

I cannot chat with many people at one, this is one of the reasons why when I still used my old FB my chat always go offline not chatting at all and when i was on yahoo messenger I set my status as invisible. When I chat, I usually go into a deep conversation just like discussion so it is not fun to have multi-windows chatting with other people talking about different subjects. I would rather join a group chat talking about a general discussion with many people at the main room. When I was still with my x bf, he got jealous so easy so only chat with him, he even jealous when I was chatting with my best friend who lives abroad, that was crazy and sometime I feel not comfortable. That also the reason why Im not trained to have multiple chat with many people at same time.

Me too, i want to concentrate on talking with one person only. It seems that most men are jealous i think, my bf is jealous too when i reply late, in fact i chat with him in working time so that i have to do my work also.

I like to concentrate on one conversation, too. I mean, I feel kind of... I don't know, not caring enough that I talk to several people at the same time and I don't give my best each person. Also, I actually once sent the wrong message to the wrong person, because sometimes it's so hard to keep up with which window is which person, and I told one person a thing I didn't intend to (it was our prom afterparty and I told one of my non-school friends how a girl from my grade class was behaving-he had a boyfriend and was getting it on with a guy at least 15+ years older than her, and clearly not her boyfriend... and I accidentally sent it to the other friend, who was in fact this girl's classmate... it's my luck that she wasn't on that good terms with the other girl and said "how typical of her", but I didn't want to bash that girl to someone who knows her...)

I prefer to concentrate on talking with 1 person at a time like you too. I understand the situation when sending a message to wrong person who we are chatting it. I used to get that situation and my bf asked a lots about that message. Luckily it is not harm then finally everything is ok with him.

Hello ryanong, I used to be so amazed with friends who can multi-chat and I thought that I cannot do it. But when I worked as a product trainer for a chat support account in some company, I had no choice but to do it myself to set an example to my students. After about a month or two of practice and self training, I can now manage to chat with nine different people at the same time all it take is your willingness to learn and practice.

Really? you can do chat with 9 different people at the same time without any mistake such as sending message to wrong person? Wow, so amazing..for sure you type so fast also... Should i practice with multi-windows chatting for increasing my typing speed?
