I use to love to cook. I would love to watch my kids faces when I introduced them to new foods that they loved. Now I just don't even want to go in the kitchen. My husband loves my cooking, but I want to love to cook. How do I get my Joy of Cooking back??

Hmm, maybe you are board of it, try a new recipe you never made before maybe it will get you excited to cook again.
I used to like to cook when i was younger but, i am an awful cook so i dont really like it, i like to cook but, i get mad cause it never turns out good so i let other people cook.

So, why did you lost the joy of cooking? Were one of your recipes not liked by the family.
Sometimes, when a recipe that we cooked wasn't liked by the family, you feel like you don't like to cook anymore. You have the feeling that it might go wrong again.
I love cooking too. What i hate is washing the used utensils afterwards.

Sometimes you need a break from an activity. Is there something about your kitchen that you don't like anymore? Sometimes I feel more like cooking if I clean the kitchen and reorganize a bit - when it gets cluttered, it's less pleasant to cook.

Hello momma, Cooking is not harder for you as you are a girl and also you have already undergone cooking for your family member. I don't know exact reason for not cooking food nowadays from you. Any way it is not strange thing for you. I know you like to cook and serve food for your family member. It is enough to make you to cook again for them. You mentioned that you like to to cook again but have bored while cooking. this is the main reason for you not to cook nowadays. I will suggest one for you. When you are free, try to prepare new and small dishes for your family members. You ask them to go for outing or pick-nick. While going to pick-nick, don't buy food. You cook food and bring with you for serving there. These thing makes you to involve you again in cooking.

I think you just need to find inspiration to get that joy of cooking back. Perhaps go find some food blogs that you really enjoy and bookmark them on your computer. Then whenever you start to feel bored, just go browse those blogs and find a recipe that you'd like to try. And don't worry, everyone gets bored with the what they do (even if they love it) every once in a while. Hope you get your joy for cooking back!
