Our group has been doing this kind of stuff as part of our training for almost a week. Each group has been assigned a task on how to make a project proposal for a given community. As we need to prepare it for the presentation at 10 o'clock this morning, the group spent time doing it last night and so, we slept at around 1 o'clock this morning. We have to wake up at 4 am so that we could prepare other things that we haven't finished in this regard. I feel that my head is floating because of lack of sleep. My dear friends, do you have any suggestion as to how we could make our presentation catch the attention of the viewers. We will be subject for critiquing in a few minutes.

Walk in with confidence, speak decisively and clearly, appear self-assured even if you are not; don't ask, tell. Limit visual aids, provide just enough to get your point across. Do not make unecessary movements or gestures, they are distracting. Do not say ah, umh, etc.; words like these are irritating. Do what you've been taught and you will be okay. Believe in yourself and in what you do. Now go get 'em!

Hi roberten! Thank you for the advice. Actually I don't have those mannerisms when speaking but the problem is I don't understand the topic because it deals more on engineering matters. Second, I speak slowly that even if I practiced beforehand to speak faster, it won't work when I am already on the actual scene. Well, anyway, everything just went fine. It's just a part of our training. Thank you all for your advices and opinions. I will consider all those things.
