CSK is still hanging in the IPL thanks to Dhoni's talents. Which talent? This talent is called "LADY LUCK". 48 hours ago they needed 3 teams to lose. Of these, Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab have already lost. So now it all depends on what happens to RCB tomorrow. I think three scenarios are possible:
1) RCB loses, which means Dhoni's luck still rules the roost.
2) RCB wins, which means that Dhoni's luck is receding.
3) It rains out and RCB qualify as they get one point. This will be the cruelest result for Dhoni as it is a signal from the heavens saying "Son, you have now run out of luck." Good Bye.
What are your views on this?
Cheers!

nice scenario.i would be happy with either number 2 or 3.
but the thing is,looking at the current state of IPL,if deccan chargers beat royal challengers, many would say dhoni's luck is still running high.
but you can bet there will be a lot more who suddenly questions how a team can reach the semi-finals almost 4 times where it was not possible on a couple of occasion?
does CSk getting favours because srinivasan owns csk?
because some news channel has already blown lid when they showed how srinivasan and modi rigged IPl auction so that CSK gets flintoff.
how easy it would be to question IPL's integrity?
it may not under normal circumstances but fresh of fixing charges, not many would over-look the possibility.
funny how one one position of interest can pretty undermine the name of a good team.

I think there are two ways to look at it. Look at all these news negatively and lose the interest of the game. Or look at it in the light that when people can gobble up scripted movies and scripted soap operas, what is wrong in enjoying a bit of scripted sports if it gives us a high on the adrenaline. Remember the popularity of WWE.
Cheers!

It seems it's with RCB to decide with Dhoni's luck, Dhoni has a good luck, I think he is more lucky than being a great captain, Dhoni does captaincy well but is not anything great as Saurav Ganguly was during his time.
I would love to see Royal Challengers Bangalore break Dhoni's luck in this IPL ..
