Children from single parent families

I belong to a single parent family..that being my mother..i think she has worked really hard to bring me up well and imbibe good qualities in me..however i notice many-a-times children going astray in such situations..your views..how do children from single parent families generally grow up to be..would you stick in a marriage to give your child both parents or split?

im from a single family home (mother) and i can say she has had to struggle with doin stuff by herself but me seeing that made me wanna have a family and made me more of a man

that is very true my friend..same here..when you see someone struggling and going through pains so closely you tend to be more responsible in your life..i saw the after effects of what happened when my father married again..the sufferings my mom had to go through..that all the more makes committment and loyalty more inportant to me in all relationships..
