How long does it take you to go from confused to completely frustrated? Me? Not too long. Usually these days I will ask a question and if I don't get a clear answer I may ask another question but if I Still am confused I usually become frustrated and I forget the whole thing! It is better to forget it than have it dwell on me until I'm suicidal. It has happen in the past So how about you? How long does it take to go from Confusion to Frustration?

some people say things and they don't understand what they are talking about, I ignore them. If I really don't understand something first I make sure that what they said was okay it was just me who didn't understand and if I am interested as I not always am interested, I will go and check out on the web, ask people I know that know what they are talking about etc.

Being so frustrated I wanted to take the big exit happened Way before I was online. I guess that is why now I ask and if I don't get an explanation, apathy sets in. I have better things to do. and.. I rather be deemed stupid, it is fine!

I tend to deal with frustration differently, and my frustration makes me more determined to get to the bottom of the confusion, looking at it from different angles, clarifying my own position, asking new questions, and continuing. If the other person involved gets annoyed, I simply point out that while we are both, or we are all frustrated, ACTING frustrated isn't going to solve anything!! I'm currently reading an argument on a Facebook group. He swears he means one thing, she swears he means another. I am taking him literally. I know both people, and while He is not a native English speaker, I know he speaks English well enough to be 100% sure of what he's saying. SHE, on the other hand, won't back down, and swears he is trying to say something else. THEY are both getting frustrated as hell, but I'm calmly trying to get HER to understand that HE knows what he's talking about.

Well said. My friend is Danish, and I'm half Danish. A Russian friend has joined our side. The debate is with an American lady (just one!) about how Americanized a certain sight we're on has gotten. She's trying to justify it with tax laws and things like that, and we're expressing the fact that it's out-right discrimination. My Russian friend and I see our Danish friend's issue, and yes it may be a glitch in the website for now, but the point is that the glitch only affects NON-AMERICANS! My husband, also American, had to chuckle, at the thought of one poor American going up against two very stubborn Danes, and one very stubborn Russian. :) Nothing against Americans, just that this particular one doesn't seem to see how over-Americanization of a lot of things frustrates the livin hell out of non-Americans, and IS NOT FAIR!!! Much in the same way I am a feminist because men still have far too many rights that women have not gained yet. Our point is not to over-power the Americans, my point is not to opress men, rather to even everything out, so one group is not over another. And yes, two Danes and a Russian in this debate are going to stick it out for as long as it takes!!!

Good Luck! This is why I ask for the person to completely explain Everything. If they can't or won't , it means I wasn't Suppose to understand, period. And I walk away.

well, there is always a limit to the patience that keeps us from getting frustrated. i get frustrated when time is not on my side. however, if there is time for me to wait and explain things, i am ok to do those things. if i there is not enough time, there is more reason for me to get frustrated. particularly if i see no reason why what i ask for can not be done.

Yup! I agree with you...better to forget than continuing that frustration. I experience severe depression before and I am almost give up. But I think to forget everything than to play those unforgettable thing that makes me confuse and frustrated

This all has to depend what the circumstances are that are leading to confusion and frustration. If it is something trivial, it takes me a long time to get to frustration from confusion. if the matter is huge, it hardly takes any time at all to get there.

Funny I have been more upset over the trivial . I think it is because the non trivial is Always thoroughly explained.

I go from confusion to frustration in a bout 2.3 seconds. I ask a question and if I do not get the answer I will ask one more time. Then I go off. When I ask a question it is usually a straight forward question, no mystery. And when I get the run around, I go nuts. I normally say to the other person, what is your major malfunction? LOL. But I mean it. I also don't like getting frustrated. And I totally hate being confused.

Hello my twin! It takes me longer but I do ask straight forward questions , no B.S. and when I don't get a clear answer I do get pretty upset.

When confused I used to go back to be in the state as you are 'Frustration' long back..but later I developed an attitude of dealing with small things .. just dont relate confusion with frustration ..try to think cool..brteak your confusion into bits and try to analyze..dont be frustrated for a solution .. life is cool ..live in the present .. solutions and answers open up very soon .

Depends on what it is.....just a couple of weeks ago I put together two storage thingys for my craft room...I worked on it for quite a while then ran into a part I just couldn't get.....so I walked away from it until a few days later then started fresh...it usually takes a while and I"ll give it a few shots before getting too frustrated!

I'll ask a few times too...then frustration kicks in. I am actually pretty patient and will rephrase the question a few times if I am not getting what I want. I might even go to different people. I suppose it depends on what I need to find out and how fast I need to know it before I get frustrated...lol.

This happens to me only rarely with people, mostly when I get into discussions with you or others and I feel like you interpret what I say in a way I never meant it. Normally, I only get to the frustration point you speak of --a frustration that make me want to just quit what I'm doing and give up -- when I deal with computers and software and sites that change things that work and now no longer work as well as they did. Example. I went to edit a Weebly page today and lost two pages of work because something changed. Maybe it's not gone forever, since I did not publish the changes. I'm waiting for tech support to respond to my email to save the site as it is and ignore anything I did today. Meanwhile, I copies everything to my own computer the way it should be, but pasting everything back and having to redo upload of images and videos does not light my fire. I'm afraid to try to fix this on my own because it might make it harder for them to fix it on the site. But I was planning to work on this today, and now the day is gone. I'm leaving to go work in the garden.

Thanks. After the huge misunderstanding I thought you would have less headaches if you deleted me. That is why I wanted to give you a chance to walk away. I can't promise this won't happen again. So the offer Still stands.
