Child Suport for 30 Kids!

Now if you were fool enough to be only making minimum wage and having a handful of kids you are in trouble. What did this man http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/18/desmond-hatchett-30-kids_n_1528850.html?ref=mostpopular think he was going to support 30 kids with? I say he better get a second job! And he's going to have to keep those two jobs til he kicks the bucket to catch up with his arrears. And if he was really wise he'd think more about working and getting to know ALL his kids than making more kids. Perhaps a "snip" is in order?

I do not beleive in the Government making health decisions for people but this man's punishment for not being able to support his kids should be a vasectomy. We have a very real fear my Brother in law will turn into one of these people. He has 6 kids with 4 different people that we know of. He does not pay his support and not only is his mistress pregnant but rumor has it that the girl he is seeing behind her back is as well. That will bring him up to 8. It is ridiculous.

Agreed! Though of course they say it's no crime to be a serial father. However, disappointing all the kids he's fathered by not giving them his time or money should be.
Please don't tell me someone is still married to a cheat like that? Then again the man in the article had 4 kids born in the same year twice, so I imagine he went from one bedroom to another. I don't recall the details but there was a guy in Utah who had multiple wives and many kids with each, they all lived in trailers togeather and of course the women live on welfare. Religion aside if you can't afford them try not to have any! But I'm sure the appeal is doing like these men are from one bed to the next bed to the next and working a job inbetween.

She re-married him! OUCH! That was not a good move indeed! He clearly can't keep his pants on and should probably be sitting in jail. I wouldn't want to associate with them very much either.

They are separated at the moment but she divorced him once when he got her brothers underage girlfriend pregnant a few years back. She then remarried him and raised the illegitimate child as her own until she found out about the another he had during that time period. She doesn't yet know about the mistress or the chick he has on the side from that relationship...it's a big mess and why we have a s little to do with him as we can, well one of the reasons anyway.

there should be a mandatory provision for that if they keep making kids they can't support.the kids are the ones that ultimately suffer.

The kids & tax payers truly suffer from this irresponsibility. The man just needs to keep his pants up and do the best he can to see all his kids and get snipped.

I heard about this and I think that the man should be neutered. How dare he create 30 children that he cannot take care of! This man deserves what is coming to him, and one of these days those women and children are going to get even with him.

Yes he could use a bit of a snip. We'll I'd imagine $1.49 a month doesn't get very far in child support! I know that wouldn't even buy one days worth of hot lunch at school (provided one paid full price).

I saw another discussion like about this man. Definitely think its sad that in this case a court ordered vasectomy cant be legit.
his kids loose out either way...they either dont get the money to support them properly or they dont have a dad around to know because he is either working too much....or spending time with one of his other 30odd kids.
