Many of my friends are leaving now to work abroad. I simply am caught up with the urge to do so. I mean it is every nurse's dream to work somewhere far off and earn more than the basic pay. When will my time come to spread my wings and take flight somewhere destined, I hope I would be at best.

There are great opportunities for nurses willing to travel. The pay is excellent. I bet you will have a ton of offers. Take care and good luck.

Thank you! :) I am currently working on it. An english exam is a requirement. I do pray I pass. From there, I also pray a smooth-sailing process.

I think so.We all want to share our dreams and make that come true if we really have that. And i could totally understand how you feel.Anyway, just work harder on that and if you are really good enough, you would find there are more opportunities out there.

Thank you for the nice thought. I know I can reach higher. It will be a big leap if it were to happen as I am unemployed right now. Good luck to me!

Once you set your mind to it and start doing your own plans you would be able to spread your wings and fly. So it's all up to you.

I am all set ms. toni :) I simply pray that my plans go accordingly. But in the first place, I am not pursuing this without God's grace. I implore the Almighty's blessing for the successful completion of my plans in His time and I pray that I be granted patience as I wait. :)

I understand you emjay, I am also a nursing graduate. Nurses are being paid less here which is why some fresh nursing graduates would choose to apply as a call center agents as it would give them high salary. In time, if there's a chance for me to work abroad I would gladly accept it.

Nowadays, many nurses are jobless. I graduated as a nurse too but underboard, but i'm thankful that i graduated in my college. Now i think the best way to have a stable job is to work abroad. Someday each of us has the right time when we can work abroad for greener pasteur as they said. God has plans for us, maybe not this time but i'm sure when the time comes, it would be a great oppurtunities for us.

I highly commend your perception. Indeed, we have our own time to go abroad. I pray that indeed it will be HUGE windows/doors of opportunities to become better and be far more than what we are now.

I also want to work abroad but there are a lot of hindrances. I'm currently living with my mom whose already a bit old and she does not want me to leave. But it's always been my dream to work abroad but I guest not now. I still need more time to persuade my mother...:P

I guess your mother has some fear for the both of you. She fears of loneliness and she fears for your safety. As with any mother, she wants to be personally there to cater to her child's needs. If anything comes up, she is there to defend you. I hope your time too comes. Each of our time soon come to work abroad.

I suggest you do something about it instead of just thinking about it. I'm not trying to be harsh but it's just that I get to hear a lot of people thinking about their hug 'break' but it seems they're not doing something about it. I could remember the time when they claimed that there's no more choice for nurses but to just sit tight until countries are 'open' once again. You know what, all my batch mates who took nursing as their second course were able to leave country and work without experience whatsoever. Those who were first time graduates did not do anything abut wait for what their parents would decide for them. I think if you want something you need to do something about it quickly. Have a great MyLot experience ahead!
