So What’s It Going To Take For Your Country To Get Back On Top?

Another election? The Olympic Games? An end to austerity measures? More austerity measures? An end to corruption? Something else? “All of the Above”? None of the above? According to the latest findings, the OECD in Paris reckons Down Under are world beaters - in economic terms at least. http://au.pfinance.yahoo.com/fame-and-fortune/article/-/13757012/OECD-names-Australia-worlds-happiest-industralised-nation Of course, there’s plenty of criticism of these claims if you’re actually living here. About half the country’s population are employees (11 million) & all we hear week after week are massive lay-offs from some of our biggest employers. More of our insecure workforce is part-time than ever before, even those that are part-time want full-time work & jobs that were traditionally full-time have now gone part-time or are being done part-time. Our two-speed economy is letting mining drive the costs of living ever upwards at a pace our unchanging wages can't compensate us for. Our sharemarket, which most of our people's superannuation is tied to, has been consistently a poor performer, driving our national savings & retirement savings backwards over a long period of time. We seem to accept vast sums of our tax money (I think we’re still the most highly taxed country on earth) going into government spending & borrowing, but would like to see even one of their “investments” actually work! How’s that for whinging & whining that “the good times could actually be so much better if only they ran the country my way”!

All I know is that if my idiotic, moronic, fellow Americans who support Donald Trump, we will no way be back on top. I cannot understand why they can't see this.

Just because we are world beaters does not mean it is all good, it just means the rest of the western world is in big trouble! What do they expect though after decades of massive debt creation! We will just have to create more money out of thin air to pay it, that will fix everything! Won't it? I am sure that this report will not be at all comforting to friends of mine who are in trouble of losing their house. They were unfortunate enough to have bought at the peak of the housing bubble, they now have a mortgage worth $410K and a house that is worth $360K and have both lost their long term jobs in the last six months. They still have their own businesses which they run from home, but due to the governments taking away subsidies for natural therapies, they are not getting the amount of clients there that they once were either. Basically, the world is going to crap. Get out while you can! Well, at least try to become more self sufficient and debt free anyway!

That puts it all into perspective, doesn't it? Sorry for your friends' house. I'm putting my next MyLot payment straight into the mortgage! How's Swagbucks working out for you? I just got my gas disconnected & I threatened the buggers to disconnect my electricity too! Do we blame it on Greek politicians, then? Any more ideas to get us out of the crap? Prepare yourselves for the mother of all Carbon Taxes! Any more predictions for the next new tax?

You will have to get busy building more Bedini's before you disconnect the power! Having no electricity bill would be awesome. I hope to be in that position one day. Swag Bucks. Nothing happening there, just got the tool bar installed and earning bucks through searching That is it. It is not high on my list of priorities. Maybe we can take it right to the top and blame the world bank. Blame capitalism. New taxes....I am sure they will probably come out with a few more before the end of the year. Oxygen might be next. Then we will all have to stop breathing in order to pay our bills!

I can make oxygen, Bill! Hey - how's about I trade you some for your excellent RawPleasure products! On a volume-per-volume basis too please, as oxygen doesn't weigh a lot! Good plan... build first, then disconnect power! I've almost got free lighting in place, it's just the bigger stuff that's going to be expensive to convert.
