What did you think of the movie Dark Shadows?

I went to see the movie Dark Shadows on Saturday with my dad and I have to say it was actually very good. My dad said he use to watch the old Dark Shadows growing up. While I am into the whole vampire and werewolf thing I was not entirely sure that I was going to like it.
I thought that Johnny Depp did an excellent job at playing a vampire. Of course Johnny Depp is great at playing any kind of character. I do have to say that he wore a lot more makeup than the vampires from Twilight. =)

I think the movie is really good. Johnny Depp looks very young and really fits as a vampire character. Well, without any make-up, JD still looks like a rock star vampire in real life. I can recommend this movie to those people who love adventure and JD of course.

I've checked the trailer of this movie and so far its intriguing and I'm interested to watch this. But I really don't know if I'm gonna like it since I don't have any background with the series neither my mom when I asked her. I'm sure Johnny Depp did a good job with the character since he said in an interview that he wanted that role since he was a kid I think watching the tv series.
