big blow for spain in euro cup

had you heard that David villa can`t play in this tournament??
i think it is the big blow and miss for Spain in this tournament..
after Carlos puyol can`t play too...
Vicente del bosque must confused i think..
he must changed his strategy...
what about the chance for Spain in this tournament??

Spain is not a one man's team. Other than the two players, SPain has a lot of individual players with good qualities. Spain's defence has always been good and socring is not a problem when they have good midfielders, capable of opening up any defence. Furthermore, there's still Torres to rely on even David Villa is not playing. David siva can score as well. Spain is still favorites but Germany might have a chance.

Well they still have the talent to go all the way, maybe Del Bosque would choose Ath.Bilbao's Javi Martinez, as a replacement for Puyol, who had a great season. The real deal for Del Bosque though would be in the striker's position, there are 2-3 forwards that had a great season (Llorente,Soldado,Adrian) and a great player with an average season (Torres). Only the result would tell if he'll make a good choice there.

Yes, for quite some time it was known that David Villa is doubtful for the Euros with the injury that he suffered. And this really hurts Spain as they are bit weak up front and this could hurt their chances.
With Puyol, I actually think it is for the better of Spain. Puyol is not getting any younger and has slowed down considerably. Against teams like Germany which are young and have pace to burn he could have really struggled. His injury reduces one selection problem for Vicente Del Bosque.

Losing David Villa and Carlos Puyol no doubt is a set back for Spain but I don't think it is that much of a problem. With so many talented players to choose from, Vicente Del Bosque does have a happy problem to not just decide on his team but his squad as well. Spain has the players to form 2 national teams and both are good enough to meet in the final! I hope to see Torres to shine in the coming Euros.

Gerard pique is the best companion for puyol..i think sergio ramos position in spain team is right defender and not central defender..
jordi alba is good, but what is his position?i think he is left defender..
what about Adrian from Atletico Madrid?? is he good?

You disagree with me about what? About David Villa and Carlos Puyol not going to Euro 2012 being the root of Spanish trouble in Euro? Without that two players, Spain will not even qualify from their group?
Fernando Llorente (Athletic Bilbao), Pedro Rodriguez (Barcelona), Fernando Torres (Chelsea), Juan Mata (Chelsea) and Alvaro Negredo (Sevilla)can not score goals for Spain?
Javi Martínez (Athletic Bilbao), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid), Gerard Piqué (Barcelona), Álvaro Arbeloa (Real Madrid), Andoni Iraola (Athletic Bilbao)and Jordi Alba (Valencia)can not keep their goal safe?

losing David villa is a big blow for spain and they havent been playing to good lately so i think that they may struggle i think that the germans may win it.

of course..it is big blow
but i do hope negredo and torres can make spanish fans forget for a while role of David Villa..
it is better for spain focus than regret why their best forward can`t play in this tournament
their first opponent is not easy i think..
they must meet against italy in the first game..
both of them had known each other..
