Phillip Phillips won....

I think even though we can predict who will win, it is still fun to watch the show.. since there are lots of talent there and i love their guest singers too. I love how the singers perform, especially james Durbin of last season, i always look forward to his performances..

But i must agree with other's that the show wasn't really that entertaining to boot. i only watch because i needed to see the results there. unfortunately, i felt like i've wasted my time. so much for that i think i can focus here and then.

You should have just tuned in for the last 10 minutes, they always announce the winners at the very end. I had to wait through the whole show just to see Aerosmith perform, so imagine how I feel, LOL. I waited so long for them to actually be on all together (like Ryan said. he waited two years LOL), but Joe Perry was actually mad at Steven for awhile for accepting the judge title there, I guess he isn't anymore. :-) I love that band, they have been one of my faves for so many years, them and the Rolling Stones are legends to me.

Yeah, that is what everyone in all stations is talking about, the WGWG... i hope it's another type of singer next year, although i am doubtful.. There are lots of WGWG in America, so dozens of them would sure join Ai for next season.

WGWG~white guy with guitar~ It has been a pattern anyway. Perhaps the next contestant if they want to get further in this show they really need to bring an instrument along with them. But they are not as popular as other singers. It is good that at least the viewers voted the right person but whether they will go far in the music industry its all up to them.(^^)

I can expect the other 2 rivals of idol to get high ratings... i can say that people of color and women should stop joining this contest, they will never win, after 5 seasons this is a contest for white guys with guitars only. I can see the audience moving on to the next WGWG by next season.

Yes, most of the comments i see online are saying Jessica is the true Idol and winner for them, for me too. Yeah, some people have become annoyed with those comments on youtube about her being Filipino and all, she's not just Filipino.. i am quite embarrassed about them.

the real competition is the music industry, who will sell records. If Filipino fans wanted Jessica to succeed, support her buy buying her album not "filipino pride comment spamming on youtube videos" They need to buy her album,filipinos should be silent for claiming her so she can capture America. Also dont sign with interscope records.....I know the reputation of that company....

Yeah, Taylor Swift is the Only country singer i care about too, and Rascall Flatts. Didn't David Cook just release another album, or was it just a new song? I never really like Scotty..but still, i wishes the best for them too..

Oh yes, their duet was quite nice too. They looked cute...like brother and sister Phillip seems to be a really nice person. I am quite sure they'll do well in future since they have so many fans..

Oh yes, only a few have really been famous and only a few of them were in the top 3.. I hope they have a bright career ahead of them, they are still young and talented.
