Sourav Ganguly says he will continue playing in IPL. For his low performance in IPL thorough first he was just on discussion of IPL. Being failure in KKR he had to go to PWI. By captain in PWI he showed a poor performance in captaincy and playing both.

The Pune team was not that much good. Only less number of batsman who can smash hard. As you know pune didn't participate in first auction, so it turned out as a big blow for them. Surely they won some matches on the start of the tournament, but were not able to carry forward the form. And Ganguly is a good player, but I think he is not matching with T20 format. He was playing like what he do in ODI matches. Always having the strike rate around 100. That will not suite for T20. In t20 you have make runs quickly. Scoring 50 runs from 45 balls is not at all good. IF you play 40 balls then you should score 75+.. Otherwise the well fought fifty will go in vain. So if Ganguly wish to stay in T20 format he should make runs quickly, targeting the strike rate of 200. But I don't blame DADA for Pune's loss, because pune team was not a strong team but should have played better. Yuvraj is a big loss for Pune, hope that he will get well soon.

I agree that it is high time that Ganguly hang up his playing boots. His timing has now almost gone and his footwork has completely slowed down. I would rather see him as a mentor in the than a player. Cheers! Ram
