I felt that away about many series, sometimes I won't even start them unless I know the complete set is out, because I hate waiting for a new book to be published. Some of my favorite series were Harry Potter, Penndragon Series, The Bartimus Trilogies, Chronicles of Narnia, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo series, and the Twilight series. Thank goodness for the Kindle fire, because now if I like a book in a series, I just order the next one right away, instead of having to wait to go to the book store.

Invest in a Kindle, they are so awesome, of course you can always try Amazon, since they have everything.

I was the same way when I finished the first Hunger Games book, I bought it after all three were out, and I was just looking for something to knew to read while my roommate was shopping for clothes at walmart, I finished it that night and the next day couldn't stop myself from going back and buying the other two books. I love and hate book series for how they make me feel. I love feeling so connected with the characters they seem like my friends and that I can't wait to know whats going to happen to them, or how their stories will end. I hate it when I have to wait to buy or read the next book, especially if it's not out yet. I'm currently having that problem with the Witch and Wizard series by James Patterson, I can't afford to get the newest book and I want to read it so badly.

That's one series that I'm actually able to be up to date on, except for the newest offset novella about Professor Lenobia. I've read that series several times, if you get the chance to catch up it's worth the reading time. Although it's still not complete yet.

I read the three Hunger Games books last week - I read them all in a week because I couldn't put them down!! They are all excellent and I can assure you that you will enjoy the next two just as much (if not more) than you did the first!

It took me one day to read The Hunger Games first book. It took me one day to read the second book the day after. I think I'm gonna start the 3rd book today. I'm enjoying this trilogy much more than I thought I would. I just couldn't put the books down once I started them. I have to admit though, that I liked the first one better than the second one. Can't wait to see what the third one has in store. I also read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy in about a week. That is also a very good trilogy.

I have a Kobo e-reader. I look for promo codes on the net for it and I ended up getting all three books of The Hunger games for $15 when I used the promo code. Awesome! And I got all 3 at the same time so no need to wait for them.

I do not suggest you see the movie. They do not explain things though it is very close to the book.

I am going to read all the books before i watch the movie but i do want to see it. Its like twilight i read all 4 books then seen the movie and they had to cut out so much at first i wasnt happy but, since i havent read the book in a while and re watched the movies they were actully pretty good.

Haha, yeah the movies are better if you wait a little while after you read the books because, they arent as fresh in your mind and you dont notice all the things they left out.

Hey there musicluv4life, I feel the same way as you! ?? I watched the huger games movie but when it ended, I wanted to know what happen to Katniss and peetas relationship so I decided to read the books as I couldn't wait for the second movie to come as as that would've taken one whole year. I manage to finish the first book in just a few hours and make me wanting for more cause the first book sort of left me hanging so I continued to read the second and the third book. Dont worry, won't be giving you any spoilers however I do want to say that I love reading all three books but the second book is my absolute favorite out of the thre :)

I finished Hunger Games last week and I agree, its really good. The guy who loaned us it is having trouble getting the second and third books back from the person he loaned them to - so we are having to wait... I looked to buy them, but they are only out in hardback, may go to a half price store and hope to find them, but I've got my doubts. He said that he thought they were better than the first one... so I'm looking forward to them.

After reading the first book, I proceeded to read the second book but for me, it's not as exciting as the first one. After the second book, it's like a downhill thing for me. I'd been trying to finish the third book but I'm stuck in the middle of the book. It's not fun anymore.

Finishing a good book is always worse for me. It feel like I lost something, especially when it was the last book in the series. Hunger games is a good one too. For me, the second one was better
