My husband is a big coffee drinker and I mean it is like he is addicted to it l.o.l. but anyway he likes coffee with some kind of cake or brownies or whatever there is sweet and I guess that just has always gone together like coffee and donuts he he he l.o.l. but anyway I just don't see how he can drink coffee when eating things like tacos, burritos and dinner things like that. Could drink or do you drink coffee with dinner? I just can not do it I like coffee in the morning and sometimes if I am tires during the day bit I usually don't eat anything with it. Or on a cold day and God knowa we don't have hardly any cold days here!!

My dad also drinks coffee all day. His coffee is like mud. He puts way too much sugar in it, and also he puts creamer, and the coffee is so strong I dont think an ox could handle it.

He he...I like to drink coffee but drinks rarely.I drink Milo morning and evening ! Do u know the presents given by coffee ? I'll type them !Just read quickly ! If you are like many other American adults, you are already drinking coffee every day, probably in the morning and possibly in the afternoon or evening. Drinking coffee is fine when it's done in moderation. But if you drink too much coffee, you might start having some unpleasant side effects. DISEASE PREVENTION Drinking one to three cups of coffee daily may reduce your risk of developing some diseases, according to the Harvard School of Public Health. Recent studies suggest that the incidence of heart disease, cancer, cirrhosis, Parkinson's disease and gallstones may be lower among coffee drinkers than among those who don't drink coffee. These findings, however, have been based on observational research. MENTAL AND PHYSICAL BOOST It's no secret that caffeine can keep you awake, but Georgetown University also reports that caffeine boosts metabolism and stimulates the central nervous system. While some people drink coffee just for that boost, too much caffeine can lead to anxiety, irritability, headaches, muscle tremors, sleeplessness and diarrhea. Drink fewer than six cups of coffee a day to avoid these side effects. POSSIBLE BIRTH DEFECTS Women who are pregnant may want to moderate their consumption of coffee or discontinue it altogether. The Harvard School of Public Health reports that although the findings are not conclusive, two studies conducted in 2010 found that pregnant women who consumed an average 145 mg of caffeine daily during their first trimester were more likely to have miscariages and stillbirths. If you're pregnant, talk with your doctor about the caffeine you're consuming. CAFFEINE ADDICTION Recent studies have shown that caffeine may be addictive, according to John Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. As many as five studies in the last 20 years have shown that you can develop an unhealthy dependence on caffeine. EXCESS CALORIES Coffee can pose another problem when you start adding things to it. Those extras, such as cream, sugar and other flavorings, can add calories to your daily diet. An 8-oz. cup of black coffee has only two calories, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. But a 16-oz. peppermint white chocolate mocha from Starbucks has 460 calories and 12 g of fat.

If I was having a restaurant meal or a family dinner,I wouldn't drink coffee or Tea along with the meal, although I have seen people doing this in a Restaurant! I'd have the tea or coffee afterwards..I might drink coffee or tea along with a snack or a sandwich, though, and definitely would want some along with cake or a donut!

I drink hot coffee or iced coffee whenever the mood strikes. That includes with lunch or dinner. Since I tend to flavor my coffee with a variety of things, the flavor does tend to work well with whatever I'm eating. I definitely wouldn't want to always pair coffee with sweets. While the sweets wouldn't put the weight on me (nothing does), they wouldn't be good for my overall health. Since your husband is thin, he likely doesn't think about the fact that the food that he is eating is unhealthy. He does still need to watch out for health issues caused by his diet, even if it isn't causing his waist to expand.

Hello my friend, I am also a coffee drinker but not as big as your husband. I drink moderately and only drinks coffee in the morning and before bedtime. I am amazed that your husband can drink coffee with tacos or burritos for dinner, I have tried that before but I really don't like the taste when my coffee is hot. I need ice cold coffee or a coffee shake to eat tacos for dinner, in order not to taste the mud-like flavor.

I like coffee, but with dinner, I prefer something cold. Although they say that warm drinks are better for helping wash things through when you eat.

I began to love coffee my friend already at my late age. When I was at my younger age I was a chocolate and milk drinker. I refuse to drink coffee before. They said it is natural when you're still young. But, I negate to that because these days there are younger individual who are already a coffee drinker which I presume not good for their health due to some components not suitable for the their health. I guess, my elders were right before, a man would start to love coffee at his/her late age. Right now, that is me. I normally consume two cups each day. Beyond that I would already experience fast beating of my heart and a little breath grasping. I understand coffee is good anti-oxidant but everything that is too much is bad in our health. Nice post... Mobhomeir here 052512 1648hrs

I was the same way I loved Chocolate milk when I was younger I never really cared for coffee until I met my husband and now sometimes I will drink more than I really care for but I have recently slowed down on it. I agree too much can be bad for us no matter what it is, Thanks for the response and have a great day.

Well, I also really like drinking coffee. You just take it in the morning, I (and I admit that exaggerate), I use a huge amount of cups during the day. The first morning, no doubt after having breakfast, then spend the other 2 or 3 hours at home or in bars, if I'm out. In the afternoon, after eating a cup is customary, and even after the afternoon nap. So I think I made ??it clear that to consider me a coffee addict

I love coffee, especially the one I have every morning which is essential for me because it gives me the energy to start a new day,but I admit I never drink coffee with dinner; I try not to drink coffee after 4pm because I want to be able to sleep well at night.I also prefer coffee simple, without any cookies or anything like that, but I'm sure there are many people like your husband who enjoy doing that.Anyway, with or without cakes, coffee's drink and I love it.

Drinking coffee for dinner. Not my cup of tea. I drink coffee in the morning only. I can't imagine drinking coffee with tacos. That doesn't even sound good. But as they say, each to their own. What is considered a cold day for you? (95 degrees) I don't know how you tolerate that heat. I would just be sick and cranky. Best Wishes!

Well, it depends a lot on person's personal preference. Some of us like to have a lot of things while drinking tea or coffee. Some others like to have these things alone.

I think that I understand your husband, I also like to drink coffee at any time, and I don´t mind if it is with food like tacos burritos or things like that, although I do not eat such things that much. Actually, I do not like sweet things that much either, I prefer salty ones. In dinner?, well, that´s another story, I prefer to drink other things, with the mayor meals, like lunch or dinner, but I don´t see nothing wrong if he does, if it is something he enjoys, its ok.

Hi ja hernandez: I love drinking coffee and I usually do it when I am not on a diet. I try not to do it everyday because I don't want to feel I'm addicted to caffeine. In my case I prefer to drink it with a piece of bread or cookies. ALVARO
