Do you dream in colors?

As far as I know, most people dream in black & white. Although some people would claim they dream in colors. I guess dreaming in colors would make your dream more alive and more memorable. Do you remember dreaming in color and how is it like?

Yes, I hope you can come back to this discussion when you become more aware to check if your upcoming dreams would be in color or in black & white. Maybe you could dream of Michael Jackson singing his song "Black & White" which is an interesting song. Anyway, I don't know why I added that comment...I just felt like it :)

I dream in color, my dreams are always in color. Its like us usually what i remember when i wake up the colored dreams i usually see the green grass as i wake up or the blue sky. I dont know if they are more memorable i am not sure if i ever had a dream in black and white.

I guess people who always dream in color are luckier :) I think green grass would mean prosperity and blue sky would probably mean infinite possibilities. I'm no expert in interpreting dreams but I do it sometimes for fun :D

I wonder if many people dream only in colors like you...Can it mean that people who dream always with colors means that they are living colorful lives? Just wondering if there is a connection somewhere because I believe many colors signifies something that is very alive...look at black and white pictures and they look dull in most cases, but when we look at colorful pictures the pictures seems to come alive.

I don't know where this myth got started, but it doesn't seem to be true. Most people seem to dream in color and it is very rare that I come across someone who says they dream in black and white. I dream in color, and I always have for as long as I can remember. I see every color there is in dreams. I've had foggy dreams that seemed diluted and grayish but still had hints of color in them, and I've had totally technicolor dreams with colors so vivid they make my mind's eye burn.

Wow, that's very interesting! You dream not only in colors but in technicolor and vivid ones. I guess you will never have problems with color blindness :)

My Mom thinks I'm color blind. lol Well, I don't think vision vision and dream vision have much in common. Though I imagine if you experience the world in color blindness, then your dreams might be color blind as well... like completely blind since birth people having purely auditory and sensory dreams.

That's a real interesting analysis, allyoftherain. Do you also think you're color blind as your mom does? If you are color blind, maybe dreams compensate for the part of reality they are lacking. Anyway, concerning those people completely blind since birth I didn't realize they have purely auditory and sensory dreams as well but it's really difficult to imagine them having images in their dreams.

Wow, I think you're very lucky! So you mostly dream in color, if that is the case. For me I think I often do not recognize after waking up if my dream was in black and white or in color. Anyone knows if dreaming in black and white or in color has some significant meaning or none about the dream?

He he ..Yes bro ! I think ur channel is not good.Tune it or buy a new package.I meditate that is my secret ! I can see everyday if i want. Now i can feel sometimes when i am in a dream. But i won't control it most of the time becaz it goes wrong.Dreams are our inner world. If you see any lustful dreams that means you are doing a sin ! Now i don't have such dreams because i cleaned and purified my thoughts ! Seeing funny dreams but still there are scary thoughts.

I agree with what you said that dreams are our inner world...so what is your opinion if your inner world is seen with or without color, does it have any significance on the meaning of our dreams or none at all? Anyway, you have some interesting analysis of your dreams like saying that dreaming about funny dreams can mean having scary thoughts which seems contradictory. Is there some study about this, or is there a book about "dream interpretations" that says this is the case?

Honestly, I have no idea if I dream in color. That's a good question. I usually wake up in the middle of a dream, I will recall what is going on but I don't know that I've ever thought about the colors of things. To me it's like reading pages of a book and invisioning what's going on in the story and probably omitting color unless it plays a role in the story telling.

I don't know if I translate/remember my dreams well, but I do remember that I dream in color, all the time. Sometimes I was even shocked how vivid the colors were in my dreams. Once I dreamed about an orange and brown locket, whoch was so unrealistically bold... :).

In my case, I don't remember any instances when I dreamed in vivid colors. I don't know what a locket is, but it is something that concerns door locks...like a small lock for something maybe? If I am to dream in vivid colors, I would probably love to see vivid colors of the rainbow and sky or different colored gelatin or cakes...now I know why I'm getting fatter nowadays.

Yes I have.. So many times, and I have seen it in reality... Sometimes those dreams do come true, like you have a dejavu. But it take sometimes a days or months before those dreams had happened. (its good that nightmare have not yet come true)(^_^)
