If you are in need of money would you go for a surrogate mother? What have you understood by the term? If a couple could not have a child due to some body defects they would go find for a surrogate mother. I can't imagine to be one of that. But I guess some women are doing that for the sake of money. What's your opinion?

Hi friend, I would not have liked to be a surrogate mother when I could. I remember my two daughters inside me and those babies were mine a long time before they were born. And it did not have anything to do with DNA but it was about the feeling of motherhood. There are many, many children in need of decent homes. Maybe the whole adoption situation should be made easier so that these childs that are already alive find parents.

hi there tess_quinain, well, indeed there are some women who goes for this for the sake of having been paid. but, as most women know that it is not easy to bear a child for 9 months, hence, if a woman really cherish those months where she carries the baby then, she will not really go after this condition. that, it is quite difficult to give your baby to anybody else just for the money that they will going to pay.

I would do it if I had a healthy body. Earn money and give people the happiness that they want. Seems like a fair trade.

I would never do this before I had children of my own, because I would hate to have a baby for somebody else and then realise that I couldn't have kids of my own later on in my life. However, I do think that it would be wonderful thing to be able to do for someone who was unable to have children, because it is something that would be able to completely change their lives for the better. I would like to help people if I could, but I don't think that the laws about not being able to get paid for it are very fair, because pregnancy can put a lot of pressure on the body of a woman.

Probably we're watching the same soap opera, lol! Anyways, in my opinion if that is the case, having a surrogate mother for my child would be a good option rather than adopting, as I would be having my own blood in the child. The issue of money being offered would very well compensate for using someone's else body to have the child, I think, but if someone would offer it for free then the better, lol! Seriously, there are a lot moral issues of surrogacy, but then again, it is an option most preferably for those who are desperate their own child and if they can afford it.

I can't say anything about this since it is up to an individual choice. Honestly, I dislike to be one. If one really want to have their own child they need to seek for other alternatives. I know they want at least biological children but they still can consider to take the adopted one.(^^)

I can't have anymore children and wish that I could trust a surrogate I would hire one. But if I could have children and someone wanted me to be a surrogate I would be honored. There are people who really want and deserve children that can't have them.

In my opinion, I would currently and forever be a surrogate if I got compensated for the money the pregnancy itself would cost point blank and some kind of using-my-uterus compensation. I think it is a sad fact when couples cannot have their own children, and while adoption is more appropriate in my opinion because millions of children are in need of homes, surrogacy is a good option as well. However it can become more expensive for both parties.
