A story about love, life, death and immortality.. It was a bit confusing at first since it switched from one story to another. Starring Rachel Weisz and Hugh Jackman.. They both gave great performances especially Jackman. it was really touching..

No, I have no idea or never heard of this movie before. I have checked the review and it involved three sub-stories which Jackman and Weisz played different characters. Are these three stories connected to each other or they are just separate things?(^^)

Yes,they are connected to each other.. The only real story was the third one.. The two others are just in the imagination and the story book that Izzi made.. It's got really nice graphics too..it's very inspiring.

Yes, what you see in the poster is the 3rd story- it really looks nice, like a future or something- they are traveling to a star that is about to explode(Xibalba). It has interesting stuff about Mayan beliefs too.

I really want to watch it online or download it but limited internet quota does not allowed me to do so. From the reviews it really looks like an interesting story since it has scenes from the past years. Anyway has anything to do with a fountain or a tree like what we can see on the movie's poster??(^^)

I have seen The Fountain but didn't watch the complete film as it was confusing, they showed 3 different story bit by bit, I couldn't even understand what they try tell through the 3 stories. I didn't like the film ...

You should try and watch it again. some people do not like a movie until the second or third viewing. it is a bit confusing, but all the stories are related or happening in parallel..

I haven't seen it though but by the way you have described it, it looks like a good movie to watch. The players are also famous actor and actress. I'll include this movie on my list to watch and thanks for sharing.

Yes, it is a good movie to watch. You just have to pay attention to all the details because there are a lot of symbolisms.. The first 20-30 minutes are a little confusing.. but don't be discouraged.. it is a nice love story.

It's the film directed by Darren Aronofsky several years ago,right? For me,it's pretty refreshing.I totally agree with you on this point,it's the kind of film that we might not like it when we watch it first time.We might even think it's a bit weird.But watching it carefully the second or third time is really helpful.There aren't many good films recently.I think the Fountain is one worth watching among them. What amazed me in this film is that it's a story of a thousand years' mystery,and the actors and actresses in it explain it well.Also,Weisz and Jackman are stars in the film.Love between Thomas and Isabel,tree of life,these things are wonderful.From what you've said,I think you have some feelings for this film,right?So do I.:D

yes, Darren Aronofsky who also made Black Swan. I would love to see him make more movies since he makes such interesting ones. I was just so sad, that a love like theirs ended like that.. I am quite confused with the ending though..
