Senate Dems Wage a War on Women's Wages

There's been a lot of fuss in the news and from the left about the GOP's supposed "War on Women". But is there really anything worse than undervaluing women and their abilities, treating them like second class citizens, and refusing to acknowledge their worth?
The truth is that Democratic Senators overwhelmingly pay their female staffers less than their male counterparts. This practice is pervasive, with 37 out of 50 Senate Dems paying female staffers less than male staffers and sometimes a lot less. Senator Bernie Sanders, Socialist from Vermont, pays his female staff a whopping 47.6 percent less.
"Sen. Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.), who runs the Senate Democratic messaging operation, paid men $19,454 more on average, a 36 percent difference."
And women don't rise to positions of importance, either. Of 46 Democratic Senators who have a chief of staff, only 13 are women.
I have to say that if a bunch of men wanted to make sure I got free birth control but didn't think I had the brains to be paid commensurate with men or handle responsibility on the same level as men, I would get suspicious about how "equal" they thought I really was.
But - it's not just male Senators. A group of Democratic female senators met to urge the passing of the "Paycheck Fairness Act". But of those five Senators who are so concerned about the "gender pay gap", three of them pay their female staffers significantly less.
For instance, female members of Sen. Patty Murray's staff made $21,000 less per year than male staffers in 2011, a difference of 35.2 percent.
As usual, it's the ones crying the loudest who are the worst offenders. There's no better way to divert attention from your own deeds than to point fingers at others, I suppose.
As usual, it's a war of rhetoric and there's no substance. While the Dems accuse the GOP of waging a war on women, the Dems are regularly and in practice demeaning women, undervaluing women and treating them as second class citizens.

While researching this I found something interesting: You can't find anything about the research that the Freebeacon did. I did come across an article explaining why that is: They don't show it. But, the article I found showed the largest gender gap in politics happens to be here in Ohio. John Kasich who when questioned about his lack of hiring women said: "I’m married to a woman with two daughters, OK?” adding “I’ve said all along, I really wish I could get some guys around me.”
Using the same numbers that this site used for the White House numbers Kasich has a 106% pay difference (that doesn't include the private companies he has created and personally had a hand in hiring to hide what he is doing from the public)!!!!
This article also explains what the freebeacon doesn't which is their number are not an AVERAGE, they are the median.
By the way, Barnie Sanders is an independent, not a democrat.

I agree, playing the "Kasich does it too" card doesn't change the facts. Kasich may be guilty of some sexism there, but not hypocrisy like the Democrats who pretend to want equal pay for women while paying them 20%-50% less than men.
Bernie Sanders is an independent, but he caucuses with democrats. Some have said he's independent because he's too far to the left to even be a democrat.

Is that possible? To far left to be called a Democrat? Don't they call those people totalitarianists?

Weird going's on in blogsphere, the above video had a web site attached to it; www.respectmyvoice, when I used the url to try to go to the website I got this:
http://respectmyvoice.blogspot.com/ BLOG NOT FOUND-Blogger has been removed.
This is the war on women the left is waging. Not only do they not pay or promote, they silence those who do not conform.

Good video. Very much to the point.
I was intrigued by the disappearing URL, so I did a bit of exploring. The petition is not at its own URL, it's on a separate page at the SBA List website. They obviously didn't put up a separate site or they just put the wrong URL in the video. Glad to find that out because I was imagining all sorts of reasons to think conspiracy. Anyway, the petition is here:

You beat me to it on this one. The level of hypocrisy on the left is truly astounding. I remember when they ignored the fact that Obama paid women less than men. Now we see exactly how badly democrats pay women compared to men and still... silence. I'd be surprised if any major network, besides Fox News, even makes a short mention of this story.

It's all very simple. These scumbags don't really believe a word of what they are saying. They just want power, and they know how to play on people's ignorance to get it. It's no surprise that women like the ones in this situation are exploiting other women. As we all know Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are famous for exploiting black people under the guise of helping them.
"Why don't people get more angry?"
Because most just don't want to believe it. It doesn't make sense to them so they try to rationalize it away. If you've ever watched the show "What Would you Do" You'll see people just disbelieve things right in front of their eyes and keep right on walking all the time.
"Women are not objects and it seems to me that the Dems have a problem seeing this."
Oh the dems don't see them as objects, they're voting blocks. As a block, they are not simply expected, but REQUIRED to think what democrats tell them too. Any who do not, are anti-woman. Black people get it even worse being told that they aren't even black if they don't do what they're told by the dems.

I'm so sick of the hypocrisy I just about said bad words, almost totally lost it on another discussion with a liberal. Had to take two days off just to recompose myself.
HYPOCRISY Central ought to have been the campaign slogan of the Democrats this time around. Some of what I'm finding borders on the illegal and felonious.

I had a run in with Roseann Whatever her last name is (BARR)...on twitter. She was bashing the reporter that Larry Flynt put in his sleezey mag with a certain something photoshopped in her mouth. I asked her how she could call herself a woman when she wouldn't stand up for another woman being ridiculed like that. I aksed her what she is going to do when her side is not the winnings side anymore, she asked me in return; what will YOU do if I am? I told her she was as sleezey as flynt and let it go. I'm no prude, but I'm on the verge of throwing up sometimes at the sleeze of the left, especially the entertainment branch of it. I can't stomach to watch them anymore.
