Can i go see MIB3 even though I havent see the first two?

I want to go see it but I donn't want to be confused or anything so what should I do? Am i need to buy & watch 1 and 2 then go to 3?

ueaj.. man..u need to watch 1 and 2 first..because part 3 goes staright into the story without re-ontroducing anything to new viewer..u will be confuse or left aback..since u not familiar with some characters or their regular activities.. so i suggest get the cheap dvds...or just watch stream directly..at www.1channel.ch

Really? To watch and understand MIB3, a person just needs to know what MIB stands for, and that J and K are inter-gallactic, crime-fighting, cop-like, people...

ueaj.. in part 3.. they showed actually K..knows J..longer than part 1.. actually J father got kill in the past..so K hides what actually happens to J when he was still 5 years old..so thats relationship who be touching or matter much if viewer didnt know K and J how they get to know each other since the beginning and their ventures through all this years in thos e two dvds...

for me you should watch the other two movies because you would have a better understanding of the relationships that are going on in the movie. plus you wouldn't get somethings that may refer from the past two movies. So i suggest you either borrow a copy or buy before you watch the third movie.

I think as a story there is nothing in the movie that connects this story with the first two parts. Only the organization and the characters are same as in the first 2 parts. So you might not understand a few of the jokes or references, but the plot as a whole should be pretty clear just by watching this movie alone. Cheers! Ram

No, not really, i think you cOuLd see them as separate movies. You just have to know the basic stuff- that Agent K and J are friends and K was the one who recruited J to replace him.. just go ahead and watch the new movie.

Yep, you sure can. I watched it, and it doesn't have a heavy reference to the first two movies. The only need to know what "Men in Black" are, and who are J and K. The rest, it is pretty fresh. I loved the movie. The twist that they infused in the climax, about J's past - its pretty bad*ss!
