Pain in lower abdomen:Is is leading to cervix cancer?

I used to have dysmenorrhea even during my first menstrual period. Now, having two kids, I do still have it yet with bearable pain now. But there is this another pain that bothers me. A week after my period, I feel pain in my lower abdomen staying for a day usually, and then fades out after. I think, that indicates that I should be having my period again for a couple of weeks from then on. Is that really normal for someone like me?Or is it some kind of a symptom of cervix cancer?

When it comes to pain in the lower abdomen, there can be a lot of reasons for it. There are even causes that have nothing to do with reproductive organs, supposing that the timing of the pain with respect to the period was just a coincidence. My wife has had various pain issues and we have been surprised more than once when we went to the doctor for examination. I think you should get an expert diagnosis.

Cervical pain would be more in the area of pelvis than your lower gut. Cerical cancer though is not the only ailment to be on the lookout for. If you are having pain you should go and see a doctor!

When I was in elementary, I had a check-up about this for I'm really into it since then. The doctor said , there's nothing wrong with it. She just gave me dicycloverine to ease the pain. So as of now, When it pains, I take this med.

I think it is better to see your OB-Gyne to make sure and ask what is causing you pain and give you proper treatment if ever there is something wrong with you (but i hope everything is fine).

I always have a dysmenorrhea before and after I gave birth also. I think in your situation, you better go to your OB and have it checked.

Dysmenorrhoea alone cannot be considered for having cervical cancer. It depends on your age. And also according to first response, you have to check whether you are infected. Some times, other infection would leads to such pain. Sometimes it will be your ovulation time if you are within 40 or 45 years. Consult your nearby doctor if the pain continues.
