I sometimes do tasks in mylot, and one of the latest tasks I accomplished is joining an article writing site named iWriter. I find the site quite interesting so I joined. At the same time, I think I had some potential talents in writing but haven't really made good income out of them. In iWriter, I think they pay about $1.50 to $8.00 or more per articles, but you have raise your ratings first to be able to receive higher pay per article. I think the site is very interesting and I really like it's features. Has anyone already started working on this site? If not, how do you make articles and what do you think are the secretes in becoming an effective article writer?

I am an active member of iWriter. It is indeed a good and genuine site for article writers. But most of the clients want their article in American English. So, if you are good in British English rather than American English, you have few possibilities to earn more. Moreover, there is no royalty based options, like Triond, Bukisa etc. So, if you give your hard effort for writing 700-1000 words based article, and if it is rejected by your client, all your time and labor will be forfeited. But to the American English writer, it is definitely good site to earn. It is my practical experience. Other users might have their own and different ways of experiences.

Thanks for this valuable information, sujaysen. So have you submitted any articles already in iWriter? You probably know some people who have already earned here, so you claimed its a good site to earn for American English writer.
Yes, I think it's frustrating that after writing a long article, you would only find your work rejected by the task giver, so I think really good writers would be good workers to this site. For me who is a complete beginner, I'm not sure if my works would be good enough for the job, but maybe the best way to know is to try.

No problem, opsharma. If you did find the site paying after submitting your articles, please let us know here in this discussion. Good luck!

It pays through paypal, but when I look at the tasks to be made many of them is not possible for me. I think the site is very new and maybe more and more task-givers would use that site, and then more writers would be able to get extra income from those tasks. You could check the task here in mylot so that when you register on the site, you would have an added benefit of earning an extra $0.40, If I remember correctly.

I don't know anything about iWriter. I will check it out. I am doing nicely on MyLot and Experts Column. Between these two sites and Red Gage I have made about $50 plus so far. I try to increase my articles every day.
