its nice to be just at home when it’s raining

I love the rain especially when I was young where I can play and run under the rain especially if there is no thunder and lightning. I love to drink hot chocolate or coffee when raining and sitting near to the windows watching and listening to the drops of the rains. Rainy season is coming in my country for sure floods too due to improper water drainage and garbage. And since rainy season is coming all of our things might get wet,well I think I need to prepared my slippers, umbrella and clothes so that I change to prevent from getting sick.

I hate big big raining..because my house will be full of water after that..and grrr i have to clean it all. And for sure, going to work place under raining, it is really terrible also.... With small raining, it is nice, i just stay at home too and listening music or take a nap...wow, it is very nice time for relaxing...

I actually love rain and would love it if it keeps raining all the time. But at times, actually the same as you wish, that whenever I go out, it shouldn't rain. For instance, when I go to school, I would find it better if it doesn't rain and doesn't wet my uniform and bag! If that happens, it will surely be a huge mess for me. But at other times, when I am free of work and I am bored, I would love to go out and get myself wet in the rain. Though, till now I didn't do that because I didn't get a chance. I mean whenever it rains, my mom says me not to go out because if I do, I'll catch cold and cough! But I really hope that I do get a chance of getting wet in the rain, just a little at least! :D

The weather is hot here and raining will be the time that I have always waiting these days lately. Raining at noon is great but I like more when it's raining at night, it will really give me a deep sleep as it really cold that time~(^^)(^^)

Small wonder some say that people's feelings change with the circumstances.I now have the same thought as you,because I have been retired.It happens that the rain comes down in buckets when I type this.Here ,I worry about nothing.If it were in the past,I would complain what wretched weather!

Hi simplyD, Love the rain too on evenings as we can be assured that we will have a good night sleep. Yeah it sucks to go to work if it's raining. I usually get all those dirty mud sticking on my pants. I am not really good at walking carefully and keeping the back of my pants clean. Even going to a wet market would mess up my pants.

I am not a big fan of rain. I do not like to be anywhere but at home when it comes down. It can be dangerous while I am on the road, and it is a major reason for changing plans. I can appreciate it on vacation. Some places like islands have a lot of rain. When I went to the Caribbean, it rained daily. After the rain, I would go for my morning swim. It was like a comfortable routine. I would wake up, see it raining outside my window, wait for the sun to come out, then go swimming.

It's rainy season in our country now, so I am guessing you are loving the feeling of the weather now . I hate going to work when it's raining as well. I actually did went to the office a little wet one time because the rain was so hard and flood was starting to rise outside our subdivision. But, the good thing is, it feels so nice to sleep at night with the cold weather. And I sometimes even over sleep and wake up too late

I prefer it to be only raining seldom, just when we need it to rain, perhaps once a week, if that. Of course, as it turns out, it is rather strange where it rains when it doesn't really need to but when we do need the rain, with the grass getting burned up and dried, it is time for the rain to come down. But for some reason, it does not really appear. That is just really the thing about weather, it never does what we want to do it a lot of the time. It was sure teasing the much needed rain that we do need now, after the hottest temps of the year so far. Of course, I do prefer it to happen in the evening, because rain is really something that stalls my productivity right during the day. But now we really do kind of need it.

Same here. I just love to stay at home when raining. It is so nice to relax and bury my self to our bed and sleep until its dark again, haha.

Yes, i totally have the same feeling..Although it would be nice if it was only rain. It has been thundering so loud these past few days.. i can't even watch tv or turn on the computer. maybe it is because the summer and rainy season is clashing.

Last week I graduated from the university and now I am free all the time but the weather is awful and I almost do not go out. It is raining all the time and I am pregnant and am afraid of catching a cold. No matter how much money I give for shoes they are never strong enough so that my feet stay dry. This is why I prefer to stat at home during this rainy weather.

I completely agree with you. It is nice to be at home when it's raining. It's raining this morning and after yesterday's really hot day I'm hoping that it will cool down. That is great that you are on vacation. I hope that you are having a good time. Did you go with family or by yourself? It is a great time to take a nap as well when it's raining.

I also like to take a nap or sometimes I just lie down on the couch and read a book when it is raining outside. I like to have a sunny day too for going to work as I don't want to get all wet and arrive at work like that...

I know to a lot of people, rain means 'gloomy' and depressing, but for me it is just the opposite ! My spirits are lifted and I feel bright and happy, and fresh minded, and relaxed! I love for it to rain, but sadly I live in the part of Texas, that is dry and very little rain! When it is raining,(or even snowing), I get a lot of things done because I feel active and productive! Getting wet doesn't even bother me, it just gives me more energy!

I love being able to sit at home and look out of the window when it is raining, as it means that we can know that we're nice and warm in the house while other people have to be the ones who go outside and have to get wet in the rain. However, it is not quite so nice if you know that you are having to out for some reason. For example, I knew that I had to go shopping at the weekend, but it rained a lot, and this meant that I got wet. For once, it would seem as though I was the one who people were laughing at from their windows instead of it being the other way around like it has always been in the past.

Oh, I always love when it rains. This afternoon, my daughter noticed all the red spots on my arms and ask if it is itchy. I said no. Yah,this is my problem during summer and hot days- I got rashes almost all over my body. It's not itchy, but too bad to look at (duh) This year we're not able to spend our vacation back to my hometown. Every summer, I had to escape the humid weather here in the city and have a better weather summer vacation in Baguio City. I just hope it would rain here soon......

I also like when it rains, for as long as i am home, it is hard to be commuting while raining hard with flooded streets. But if it rains at night time it so nice to sleep as if i don't want to get up and go to the office. Sometimes, rain makes me sad, rain makes me recall my childhood in the province. I remember, everytime it rain three of us, my brother and my sister just sit and stare outside to wait fort he rain to stop. If it does not stop, we will watch for the flood to rise up and we will go upstairs.

hey there! how are you? i like okay weather. or semi-sunny with cool breeze weather. I am not fan of rainy weather because of getting wet, drive, etc. Also its generally not safe to drive in the rain. It's good if it rains while we don't need to work or go to school. there should be back up plan, if it rains - do the stuff at home, lol.

Yeah absolutely..Rather than getting wet in the rains and inviting cold for your body, its better to stay indoors and enjoy the rains at home. At the same time you can also enjoy delicious delicacies at home during the rains which is really an awesome feeling.. Also u can take a short nap during the rains..
