Has anyone heard of this new trend where people are coloring there hair with chalk?
I think it would be bad for your hair but, i am interested in it.
I haven't tired it yet and i cant say i will.
I want to learn more about it though.
What do you know?

I also have not heard of this, what a cool idea, but I wonder, is it bad for the hair? If so, then I'd probably not try it, but if it doesn't hurt the hair, I think it would be awesome to use a bright yellow in my medium brown hair...:)

Yeah, i dont know how bad it might be for the hair but, the only thing i think it might dry it out but, it has to be better then hair dye you dont have all the chemicals.

I did some deeper searching and found that it can dry the hair, but only doing it occasionally shouldn't be that bad and you are right, the chemical hair dyes are horrible and until I start using henna, my hair was so dry and frizzy, I was desperate to find an alternative..

I don't think I want to try this trend since chalk that touches your skin could cause Tinea Flava or a fungal infection on the skin. My mom who's a teacher usually doesn't like us to touch chalk every time since she said it can cause that fungal infection. Anyhow its somewhat cute to look at but I'd rather use the correct hair color so that I won't get any infection in the future.

well you use the pastel chalk you buy at the art store, I dont think you can get an infection unless mutpile people are touching the chalk if you dont share it you should be fine.

I never heard of this trend but it sound fun, for me who is studying in a strict university (like we are not allowed to wear knee length skirt, coloring our hair, etc
) I think it would be a nice solution because I can wash it before I go to college, right? I have dark hair and sometime I would love to have a new hair style, but I cannot do it. I dont know if it would damage our hair but I think it would happen if we use it too often and not giving our hair to breath. Maybe we can prevent the hair damage by using hair vitamin, hair spa or hair mask so our hair will stay healthy lol.

Yeah, i think it would work well they say it washes right out.
I have dark hair too and i think it could make your hair a little dry but if you use conditioner i think it b ok and also, It has to be better then all the chemicals in hair dye.
