A couple years ago i decided to leave my job and open my own business. I made a business plan and followed it. Through the course of the last two years i've learnt that despite making a plan...it doesnt always go the way you think it will.
Next week I will be relocating to a smaller office which will knock 390 off my rent. to make things more cost effective. I've learnt that as a new business no matter how well you did working at someone elses office you still have to gain customers and prove yourself all over again. I have to admit growing my business it helps that my old employer closed completely but still people tell me they had no idea where i went when the other place closed.
I'm feeling that moving - i'm still in the same office building just farther down the hall...is a smart thing for me to do as my business is still growing and is in the first few years where its either sink or swim.
Does anyone have any tips for me as a "young" business?

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & TALENT is the most important for the success of business owners and entrepreneurs. Just have passion in your business, set an example of trustworthiness, don't let fear failure hold you back, keep your ego under control, and always MAKE BELIEVE! :-)

a pleasant day to you saundyl,
good to hear that you able to carry on to your plans in having your own business. that you able to do and organize it when you had leave your job. unlike with me, that due to a lot of discouragement that i received from my mom, i was not able to make it. about a year ago when i resigned, so, i have decided to redirect again to another venture, which is doing online jobs. well, nevertheless, with your situation, i guess, better to read some magazines regarding entreprenural stories. honestly, i am doing some article about it, but, it is not yet done. thinking, i can recommend one for you.
cheers.
