Hey there folks,
Well i had been reading a lot lately and the bible was my choice, well again with this lull thing that has been going on with me and i was kinda looking for the answers to my life's question to why am i in this position and how can i get out of it, and what do you know i grab the bible read some things about disappointments doubt so on and so on but great thing about it is that you kinda feel light afterwards and i think that I'll continue on and hope that i can do more than just read but also do offer something to our great creator, anyway it's nice everyone should all try it.

It's good to see that you are able to gain a manner of comfort from reading these sacred texts, deodavid. Sometimes, it seems, that the perfect texts will speak to us if we just give them a chance.

Yes, it is amazing how one can read the same text at difference times in one's life and receive a different message.

Yes, that happens sometimes, lotterlover. There have been times for me when an otherwise throw-away verse or something that is simply considered a hinge verse, suddenly has much meaning for me.

It's great that you're doing that. Pops has been doing that for quite a while too and it has changed some aspects of him. I don't know if it's for better or for worse because I have to tell you, he became better on some aspects at the same time he became worst on most.
Well, anyways, even if I did try to read the Bible, my mind is too immature to even understand the words being said. All I do is just focus on my job--which is trying to learn to make some money without having to step out of my house--so that I can grab my mother and siblings out of this miserable place and live in a much happier one...I mean, happily ever after under the sun.

Good better focus on that goal of yours for your family, me i have tons of things in my head to but i think I'll work on my inner demons so that when i get to beat it i can move forward and be in a much better place and get to reach what i dream for. Bible is just a tool what you do with it is really how we venerate3 God.

Greetings deodavid. It's great to hear you are reading the Holy Bible. You write, "i think that I'll continue on and hope that i can do more than just read but also do offer something to our great creator." Do what I did over 40 years ago-- offer yourself completely to God through Christ. Do that sincerely and the Holy Bible really opens up!!!
Btw, I read Revelation four times before I surrendered to Christ.

Reading the Bible is part of my daily life. Morning and night I read the Bible. I start my day with it so I can have a guide. I end my day with it so I can be reminded of God's goodness. It's worth reading the Bible. I get to know more of God, Jesus, and their works. The Bible is my guide to live a life of purpose.

Hello, deodavid. I am very happy to know that the bible was your choice. I know that in times of hardship, I turn there. But also in times of happiness, as well. It really is the best source for peace and comfort in a crazy world.
I hope that you continue to read every day for continual inspiration. It really is the book that changes lives.
