i think i started a little late, i was like 10-12 years old when i started cutting my own nails since i was lazy and either one of my parents always cut it for me.
i was quite scared at first since i might cut too much or it may look ugly afterwards.

I started cutting my nails when I was 8 and I was in the 2nd grade that time. hehehhe I had to cut my nails because every Monday, my teacher always inspected our nails, and if you don't cut your nails she will hit your fingers using a stick and that made me nervous. My mother that time was very busy so that's why I learned how to cut my nails. lol

Some teachers really leave an impression on you.
Even i still get scared of smiling or greeting my scary high school and grade school teachers..
I forgot what the punishment was though, but it must have been scary since all of us groomed ouirselves.1 person likes this

I'm not really sure, I know i bit my nails as a kid alot so i always had short nails honestly i dont think i ever really had them cut other then when i was a toddler and a baby. I had them cut once in a while if one torn or something but, i dont think i regularly cut my nails till i was proably 13 or 14 and tired to quit bitting them.

I honestly don't know when I started cutting my own nails. My kids for the most part don't mind it thought I have one child who thinks I'm going to tickle her or it "hurts". Needless to say she has learned to deal with it.
